safeties etc based on Elevator safety code ASME A17.1 requirements, Elevator operational sequences, Motors and controller etc, Elevator
recall for firefighting.

Role & Responsibilities Handled as Engineering Consultant Engineer:


Prepared Site setting layouts, Electrical SLD, Load schedules, MV & LV Equipment layouts, cable routings and Based on approved schemes,
Developed complete electrical and low current system drawings, Fire Alarm System drawings for buildings / towers including Preparation
of setting-out plan/key plan showing Electrical Rooms, Single Line Diagram & Load Demand Notification for Authorities Approval (ADDC &
DEWA) & laisioning with local authorities to get project approvals / Preliminary Authorities Clearances.
Direct and reviews the preparation of Design drawings for above mentioned projects :
Performed the electrical design engineer’s task to calculate the Electrical Load Estimations, Diversity factor calculations, Cable calculations,
Voltage drop calculations, Cable Tray/Trunking & Ladders selections.
Performed task for equipments selection and vender interface e.g. Electrical Power Distribution Boards (e.g. Transformers, ATS, UPS,
MDBs, SMDBs, MCCs, DBs, Emergency generators etc.
Prepared Tenders & Proposals + BOQ & Specification.(Electrical)
Reviewed terms and conditions of all tenders and /or quotations and highlighting any areas requiring clarification or modification.
Performed Pre-bid project study, & report generation for Renovation Projects. (Electro-mechanical), quantity take-off, and study of material
requirements, technical & commercial matters during the tender stage.
Provided support to estimations and design teams and evaluated tender documents with a focus on value engineering.
Verified calculations for TCL, Maximum demand, Voltage drop, capacitor Banks, testing of supply voltages for harmonics and rapid voltage
changes.
Directed technical expertise to existing projects for expansion and re-routing of existing utilities.
Fully conversant with standards & codes.
Familiar with local authorities regulations i-e Saudi Electricity Company, ADDC – Abu Dhabi, DEWA- Dubai for Electrical Load Demand & Cable
Entry approvals.
STC – Saudi Arabia, Etisalat & Du – UAE for cable entry.
