a. explain the meaning, brief history and background of the international
folkdance La Cucaracha;
b. identify the counting, costume and formation used in the dance;
c. share the value and importance of dancing folkdances:
d. listen to the music of the dance La Cucaracha;
e. execute the basic steps of the dance La Cucaracha; and
f. perform the whole routine of the dance.

History of the Dance

The dance was originated in

cockroach, as what you can
observe in other Mexican dances
most of their actions were

is also danced during gatherings
