SAMPLE SCRIPT
Telephone rings 2x
TCR: Sofitel Restaurant. Good morning. May I
help you?
Customer: I would like to make a table
reservation for a dinner date.
TCR: May I have your name, Sir?
Customer: Mr. James Jirayu
TCR: Could I get the details of your
reservations, Mr. Jirayu?
Customer: Yes.
TCR: When do you want to make the
reservations? What time?
Customer: On June 18 at 6pm
TCR: May I put you on hold while I check the
availability of seats for June 18 at 6pm?
Customer: Okay.
TCR: Hello, I’m sorry Mr. Jirayu but we are fully
booked for dinner between 6-7pm on June 18?
How about late dinner at 8pm instead?
Customer: Okay, 8pm would be fine.
TCR: How many persons are we expecting to
come?
Customer: Two persons.
TCR: Do you have any seating preference?
Customer: We want to be seated in a non-
smoking area, if possible near the window with
a nice view.
TCR: Okay. Any other request or concerns you
want us to consider, Sir?
Customer: No more.
TCR: May I please get your contact number/s
and email?
Customer: 09221434455. jjirayu@gmail.com
TCR: May I confirm with you the details of your
reservation? You have reserved a table for two
on June 18 at 8pm. You want to be seated in a
non-smoking area, near the window with a
nice view. Your contact number is
09221434455 and email of jjirayu@gmail.com
Did I get the details right?
Customer: Yes, that’s right.
TCR: Is there anything else, Sir?
Customer: That’s all.
TCR: By the way, Sir. As a matter of policy, we
give only 10 minutes waiting allowance as
there are several guests on our wait list. May
we then request you to come on time?
Customer: Okay.
TCR: Thank you for calling Mr. Jirayu. We will
expect you on June 18 at 8pm. Have a nice day.
Customer: Goodbye.
