1. Purpose: - To prepare the sequential Work method statement for erection and
hydrotesting of pipeline.
2. Scope: - Pipeline erection and hydro testing by Yukti Enterprise.

8. Procedure - activities to be follow

1. Obtain Permit
2. Shifting of Equipment & Duct
3. Erection/ dismantling of mobile aluminium scaffolding
4. Erection of Duct, Pipe & Equipment at work at height, By manually and
using of chain pulley blocks
5. Chain pulley blocks hang on extended pipe rack
6. Duct/ Pipe Support & MS structural Painting
7. Hydro testing of Pipe

9. Safety Resources & Precautions (Boom lift, Scissor lift, MEWP, Gondola,
Mobile scaffold)

1. Slings & Lifting Belts


2. Ladder Scaffold to approach at height

10. Safety Precautions: -

1. Adequate safety measures are taken to ensure that there are no accidents at site
during execution of work.
2. Area to be restricted for others
3. Signage to be displayed Alert, Warnings, restricted area, Work in progress.
4. Trainings to be given to execution team for critical Hazards, Risk and Control
Measures for the same.
5. To achieve this one safety officer is placed at site. The safety officer is present all
the time and ensure the site execution team implements the basic requirement.
6. To achieve this, the following points are kept in mind.
7. Periodic Safety Education of workmen, to inculcate “Safety Attitude”.

8. Safety induction for all the employees engaged in the activities
9. Site safety briefing–to avoids potential pit falls or any other hazards every day
before start of work.
10. Regular housekeeping the workplace cleans without debris.

Use of safety gadgets like-

1. Safety Helmets
2. Safety Shoes
3. Reflective Jacket
4. Cotton Hand Gloves
5. Safety goggles / Face Masks
6. Welding goggles & gloves
7. Proper electrical connection & junction boxes duly earthed
8. Use standard and certified scaffolding / Ladder only
9. Use Tested & Certified power tools only
10. Full body harness
11. Keep fire extinguisher at workplace.
12. Cylinders must be kept and transported by cylinder cart in upright position.
13. Keep First Aid box as per job site with regular replenishments.
14. Use only suitable and certified electrical tools.
15. Barricading in surrounding area to avoid unauthorised persons entry.
16. Use of ELCB/RCCB in the electrical circuit.
