The following are the fields of the sales ledger master file:
1. Invoice number (key field). A key field is a field that you will not expect duplications. This
invoices will be unique and that cannot be duplicated. The system should refuse duplicating the
key field.
2. Customer number
3. General ledger control account. Changes such as posting of journals etc. can not been done in a
control account as a system refuse such changes
