Low Pass RC Circuit as an Integrator

• When time constant is very high as


compare to time period of input signal,
then circuit is called an integrator.

• For very high value of RC, the gain is very


low. Therefore integrator is also followed
by high gain amplifier.

• Band pass filter forms by cascading or

• As we increase the order of the filter, it


approaches the ideal low pass filter (LPF).
