INTRODUCTION
A. Background
In human life, having a health where a person feels good physically and mentally, more
precisely, is healthy, which is a condition that is free from various types of diseases, both
physically, mentally, and socially. The concept of Health is a normal condition in accordance
with accepted standards based on certain criteria, according to gender and the surrounding
community.
Most people say healthy is expensive, but is it true about that fact? in the opinion of the
World Health Sciences (WHO), healthy is expensive, because we have to eat foods that are full
of nutrients, rich in protein, iron, and others.
The term healthy in everyday life is often used to express that something can work
normally. Even inanimate objects such as motorized vehicles or machines, if they can function
normally, the owner is often said to be in good health. Most people say healthy if the body feels
fresh and comfortable. Even a doctor will declare his patient healthy when according to the
results of the examination he finds that the patient's entire body is functioning normally.

DISCUSSION
1. Healthy Concept
A. Definition of Healthy
Health is a condition that is not only free from disease but also covers all aspects of
human life which includes physical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects.
A person's health status lies between two poles, namely optimal health and death. If our health
status moves towards death then we are in the sick area (Illness area), and if our health status
moves towards health then we are in a healthy area (Wllness area). So, health status is always
dynamic and changes all the time.
C. Health Status
Health status is a condition of a person's health in the range of health-illness which is dynamic
and influenced by development, socio-culture, past experiences, one's expectations about
himself, heredity, environment, and services.
What is meant by factors that influence health status are factors that influence either supportive
or hindering health-illness conditions. There are several factors that affect individual health,
namely:
1. Environmental factors
The influence of the environment on health is enormous. This is because the factors that cause
disease are influenced by the environment. Thus the importance and magnitude of the influence
of the environment on health.
2. Socio-Cultural Factors
Socio-cultural factors are the second factor with a large enough influence on health. Included in
these factors are:
- Education
3. Health facilities
4. Descendants
- Genetics
- Body structure
The four factors above can support or hinder health, so that it can facilitate or complicate the
onset of health and illness, and also these factors influence each other.
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not simply the
absence of disease or infirmity.
Culture or culture comes from the Sanskrit language, namely buddhayah, which is the
plural form of buddhi (mind or reason) which is defined as matters relating to human mind and
reason. In English, culture is called culture, which comes from the Latin word Colere, which
means to cultivate or work. It can also be interpreted as cultivating land or farming. The word
culture is also sometimes translated as "culture" in Indonesian.
Also from culture, a healthy life can be traced through the understanding components of
health, illness, suffering from illness, disability and death, values that are implemented and
believed and believed in, in accordance with the understanding of the community in accordance
with the culture and technology that the community has.
As an example of the influence of culture on health problems is the use of turmeric and "tude
bombang" as a medicine to cure jaundice (hepatitis) among the people of Indonesia.
