world. One of the most important releases of Islamic culture is that it is the science that
combines legitimate rooting and realistic awareness of the nation’s history, present and
future; That is, it is a normative and realistic science at the same time.
2- Islamic culture does not differentiate in the treatment between Muslims and others, but
rather revolve with the truth where it resides in existence and non-existence. In terms
of spiritual values, Islam came with a pure and impeccable creed of polytheism . The
two main sources of Islamic teaching refer to Quran and Al Hadith. The Holy Quran is
the primary source in Islam that contains the word of God as revealed to Prophet
Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him [PBUH]), wherein the entire text has been completely
authenticated (Shafi, n.d.)
3- (Worshiped by its recitation)
The sacred Hadith (or Hadith Qudsi) comes out, and worship is meant as two things: •
Quran is prescribed to pray in prayer, and prayer is not valid except by reciting Quran as
the Prophet (Pbuh) said: "there is no prayer for those who have not read Al-Faatiha.” 26
• To recite the Quran at any time is a form of worship to bring us closer to Allah for
which we are rewarded, in fact, it is one of the best acts of worship.
Quran Chapter Summary
Etymology: which means that the source of the term Quran is derived from the verb: read
The conventional definition: "The words of Allah revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh),
the miracle of His word, worshiped by its recitation, transmitted in poise, written in the records,
beginning with Surah Al-Faatiha and ending with Surah An-Naas."
And to clarify in details what does this definition means we shall start with words includes all
words, and attributing it to Allah excludes the words of mankind, the Jinn, and the angels which
is revealed and accounted for Him Almighty and brought to humans through our prophet
Mohamed and had been considered a miracle since no one can come up with something
equivalent and Worshiped by its recitation since the prey is invalid without reciting Quran
Quran Characteristics :It is preserved from misrepresentation and loss, and increase or
decrease; because Allah Almighty took it under his own custody , It is the last and criterion
scripture over the previous books and The Quran was facilitated for the reading and
contemplation
Names of Quran : Remembrance, to treat negligence and forgetfulness , the book for the
treatment of ignorance and illiteracy , The light to expel the darkness from the life of mankind
and the differentiate between truth and falsehood
Section II: The Revelation of the Quran and the Rule of its Astrology
1- . The Quran has one revelation: meaning that the beginning of its descent was on the
night of Qadr, and then it continues to be revealed upon the heart of the Prophet
2- The Quran has two revelations: A. It was revealed during the night of Al-Qadr. B. It was
revealed upon the heart of the Prophet (Pbuh) through revelation in twenty-three years
3- The Revelation of the Quran with Meccan and Medinan Verses and this happened for
reasons including : To facilitate its memorization and understanding ,to strengthen the
Prophet (Pbuh),To gradually educate the Ummah in order to abide by the provisions of
the Quran and the fact that the Quran is revealed progressively helps the Prophet to
constantly defy the people in any part of the Quran that is revealed to him..
The Surahs and Verses of the Holy Quran are divided into two main segments:
Al-Makki (Meccan): This is what was revealed before the migration to Madinah, even if
revealed outside of Mecca. And the Meccan verses is their shortness, the intensity of its
meaning and rhythm, its focus on rooting the doctrine and ethics, and the discussion of the
stories
Al-Madani (Medinan): This is what was revealed after the Prophet's migration to Madinah in
any place including outside Madinah. They are distinguished by their length and length, often
portraying many details of the various Sharia provisions, the discourse about the people of the
Book.
Section IV: Purposes of the Quran: The purpose of Tawheed and worship, guidance to the
demands of religion and the worldly life, recommending and teaching wisdom, mercy and
happiness , establishing the truth and justice and explaining Prophethood, its mission, and the
functions of the Messengers.
Section V: Rights of the Quran: The right to believe it, and all that it encompasses, the right to
read it, memorize it, and treat it with kindness, . the right to apply its teachings in life, the right
to keep its company and not to abandon it, - the right to listen when its recited, to learn it and
to teach it, and The right to contemplate its meaning, and open one’s heart when reciting it.
