Work Experience:
1. Appointed as an ‘Archaeologist-Conservation/Architectural’ by INTACH in February 2011 for eight
months for documentation and Photography of Heritage sites/buildings etc. declared by West Bengal
Heritage Commission and additional sites in all districts of South Bengal and Malda in North Bengal.
2. Appointed as an Antiquity Documentation Project Assistant at Directorate of Archaeology and
Museums, Govt. of West Bengal, Kolkata, from 16/04/2015 to 15/07/2016.
3. Appointed as a Project Fellow under UGC-UPE-Phase II Project, entitled “Movements of Motifs in
Chinese Trade Ceramics, Illustrated Books and Paintings through Mediaeval Trade Routes of Asia (13 th-17th Century)”
in the Department of Islamic History and Culture, University of Calcutta, from 06/11/2017-
04/09/2019.

Research Experience:
1. Working on Gupta gold coins for last twelve years (2009-2021) and herself deciphered eleven Gupta
gold coins found from Ahiran village, Murshidabad, West Bengal. These gold coins are now
preserved in the reserve collection of The State Archaeological Museum, Behala, West Bengal.
2. Deciphered the two silver coins of Kumāragupta I reported from Chandraketugarh as a stray
occurrence/surface discovery.
3. Worked on Punch-Marked coins, Vanga region, discovered from Chandraketugarh.
4. Worked on Gupta gold coins preserved in The State Museum, Lucknow and has deciphered the gold
coins of Budhagupta.
5. Worked on one hundred and twenty-nine Gupta gold coins preserved in the reserve collection of
the Patna Museum Collection.
6. As a project fellow of UGC-UPE-Phase II has studied and documented ceramics of medieval phase,
specifically Chinese Trade Ceramics (Yuan and Ming Blue-and-White porcelain) wares and ceramics
of medieval period.
7. In other projects, archaeological artifacts like, early historic pottery and stone tools, painting (Mughal,
Rajasthani, Kangra, Pahari, Company), Ivory objects, Textiles, Wooden objects, Stone sculptures,
Metal sculptures, Terracotta objects, excavated and explored artifacts (prehistoric, protohistoric,
early historic, early medieval, medieval and modern historic period) have also been studied and
documented.
8. At present working on imitation Kushan coins found from Indian sub-continent.

1. Took part in the Excavation at Mogolmari, Datan, West Medinipur, under the supervision of Dr.
Ashok Kumar Dutta in February 2008 organized by Department of Archaeology, University of
Calcutta, Kolkata.
2. Took part in the Exploration in Central India including Sanchi, Bija Mandal, Bhimbetka, Bhojpur,
Chandheri, Bagh, Ujjaini and Bhopal under the supervision of Dr. Rupendra Kumar Chattopadhyay
in November 2007, organized by Department of Archaeology, University of Calcutta, Kolkata.

Presented a paper on “Gupta Gold coin-hoards from West Bengal: An Analytical Discussion”, at the
12th International Congress on Bengal Art, held by The International Centre for Study of Bengal Art,
Dhaka, Bangladesh in collaboration with University of Calcutta, The Asiatic Society, and
Indiatourism, Kolkata, India in 10 February, 2017.

1. Successfully completed four months crash course on Spanish Language in December-April 2009-
2010 organized by University of Calcutta, Kolkata and secured fifth position, 80.89%.
2. Successfully completed nine months certificate course on English language in 2009 organized by
