Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) referring to the queries received from Training Provider (TP) while applying for

“TP Re-DA process” on


Skill India Portal – Deadline for completing the TP Renewal process is 30th September 2020.

S. No Questions Response from NSDC/Action proposed by NSDC


1. TP Renewal process is applicable TPs which are registered under the Accreditation and Affiliation (A&A) module on Skill India Portal.
for Not Applicable for Non-A&A/NSDC Fee based.

It is advised to login with User ID registered on SMART under A&A process. In case of any
query/issue, please send an email to smartdivision@nsdcindia.org with Pan Card details for
validation purpose.
2. How to apply for TP Renewal • Step 1: Log on to https://skillindia.nsdcindia.org/
process • Step 2: Login with existing TP credentials
• Step 3: Click on ‘Apply for Re DA’ tab
• Step 4: Pay the TP registration fee on the payment gateway
• Step 5: Click again on ‘Apply for Re DA’ tab Fill the updated details in form and submit for
desktop assessment.
• Step 6: Post application marked ‘Deemed Ready’, Training Provider validity will be
renewed.
Additionally, applicant can also refer to the ‘FAQ’ section (path: https://skillindia.nsdcindia.org/faqs >
training provider > question no 8 and 9) to further understand the process to be followed.
3. TP not able to retrieve TP Id To retrieve the password, below steps to be followed https://skillindia.nsdcindia.org/
password • Home page click on Login (page redirects to Login page)
• Click “Forgot Password”
• Enter the TP User Id shared and click on ‘Verify and Next’ button (OTP will be triggered to
SPOC email and Mobile no.)
• Validate any one OTP (Mobile or Email)
Post successful OTP validation you will be able to reset/generate new password
4. TP not able to trace the Login • Raise an Incident by sending an email to skillindia.helpdesk@nsdcindia.org through TP
credentials (TP Id and password) registered spoc on Skill India Portal.
• In case registered spoc has left the organization, details of new spoc and old spoc to be
mentioned on the letter head of the company.
Letter to be signed by the CEO/COO/CFO/Directors or other senior management of the entity.
5. Non availability of Financial TP can upload provisional certificate on letter head of the entity duly signed by CEO/COO/CFO or any
Statements for FY 19-20 other member from the Senior Management or can upload CA certified certificate.
6. Withdrawal of TP/TC from A&A Refer to the ‘FAQ’ section (path: https://skillindia.nsdcindia.org/faqs > training provider > question
