system is effective even for high-line aniloxes. The quick and gentle cleaning process

MINIMIZING THE RISK OF DAMAGE
The mandrel inside the washing machine is levelled with

MACHINE DETAILS

MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL (only FW 992- & FW 2000-2500M-series)


Enables easy change various settings as e.g. washing time, rotation speed and temperature. The washing programs have been pre-programmed according to the folllowing standard setting:

• Program 1: Washing time 5 minutes, drain 3 minutes, rinse 1 cycle and drying 1 cycle
• Program 2: Washing time 10 minutes, drain 3 minutes, rinse 1 cycle and drying 1 cycle
• Program 3: Washing time 15 minutes,drain 3 minutes, rinse 1 cycle and drying 1 cycle

The settings are password protected - but can be changed.

PLC CONTROL (only FW 2000-4500-series)


Enables easy change the various program settings e.g. washing time, rotation speed and temperature. It is also possible to enter an alarm log.

PUMPS
One diaphragm pump for spraying of cleaning liquid and another high-pressure pump for high-pressure rinse water.

FILTER
The 50 microns-filter for collection of the ink particles gives a longer lifetime of the cleaning liquid. It is accessible from the front and can easily be changed or cleaned. Should normally be changed
once a month or after approx. 100 wash cycles.

NOZZLES
Two types of nozzles are installed: air nozzles made of PWDF and high pressure nozzles made of stainless steel.

TANK
One tank for cleaning liquid (optional two tanks) is located under the washing unit and it has a built-in heating element.
Cleaning liquid can easily be filled into the tank through the filling funnel and furthermore the tank has a valve in the bottom, which makes it easier to empty it.

LIQUID LEVEL
The tank has a transparent tube to visualise the liquid level and a high level switch. // .NXT-units: The liquid level can be read directly from the control panel (display).

SENSORS
Three sensors determine the route of the slide in proportion to the length of the roll.

MACHINE DETAILS

RINSE WATER
Disposal of liquid waste and rinse water must be in accordance with local rules and authorities. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any disposals are approved by all the required local
authorities.

ALARMS
Filter alarm, service alarms, level alarms and other relevant proces dependent alarms.

TRACTION STATIONS
The anilox is placed on the electrically driven traction stations in the machine, which are adjustable according to the length of the roll.
.NXT-units:
The special handle placed on the traction stations makes this an easy part of the handling with no tools needed.

EXHAUST
When the unit is connected to your ventilation system, the exhaust can be connected to the Microprocessor or PLC control system - thus opening and closing automatically.

CLEANING LIQUID
For all ink types, Flexo Wash recommends one of the following cleaning liquids:
• FW Anilox + Cleaner. (Mixing rate 1:1 with water)
• FW Anilox + Deep Cleaner 3S

These liquids are non-polluting, alkaline cleaning liquid, which makes the ink in the cells crack for subsequent removal by high-pressure water. This is a very gentle method and completely safe for
all cell types. The liquid is filtered and reused.
The cleaning liquid is heated by a heating element. The temperature is visible on the display.
