CPR Guidelines/Sequence

1. The scene is safe.


2. I’m (Name) a trained first aider, can I help?
3. Hey sir! Hey Sir! Are you okay? (repeat 2x)
4. The victim is unresponsive, please activate medical assistance and transport facilities and get AED, if
available, report back to me while I check the victim.
5. Open Airway
6. Check the breathing and circulation (no more than 10 seconds) 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005, 1006,
1007, 1008, 1009, 1010.
7. The victim has no pulse and not breathing.
8. I will start CPR.
9. After 5 cycles of CPR, recheck the breathing and circulatory (no more than 10 seconds) 1001, 1002,
1003, 1004, 1005, 1006, 1007, 1008, 1009, 1010.
10. The victim has pulse and breathing, the victim is now revived. Now, I will place the victim into recovery
position.
