1. Development is Lifelong This development implies that development is timeless,


It occurs until our last breath. In child-care perspective,
a person in his/her childhood is the most curious stage
not until education starts. That education leads them to
develop until adulthood as long as they still breath.
2. Development is multi- It implies that development occurs according to the
dimensional process of physical, emotional, social and emotional
aspects of a person. In child-care, they need to eat
foods for the health and exercise for mental health.

3. Development is plastic It’s perspective is change occurs during development.


In child-care, when a child develops his/her needs also
changes that is need to be provided. In parenting, they
must need to develop also there care for the child not
to be engage in some dirty works.
4. Development is It says that development occurs influence by the
contextual surroundings or the environment where you belong.
How you interact with the people around you may
affect your development as an individual. In
education, they learn and be more motivated
regardless of what experiences they've gone through.
In parenting, they should always be observant of the
child as it is exposed with different characteristics of
people around them that they may adapt.
5. Development involves Goals of people changes as they develop, it will
growth, maintenance constantly change because they are growing. In child-
and regulation. care, you must see that a as a child grow their
perceptions in life and as to themselves develops. In
parenting, supporting and motivating them as they
grow is a big part.

2. “Growth is an evidence of life” or “development is an evidence of life.” What does


this mean? What does this imply to a person’s development? (5 points)
- It means that development in a person is constant. From infant to adulthood.
Changes is a development that must be in a good way. We must value
ourselves on this world and understand how to cope up with environmental
changes in order for us to survive. If there's no growth then there is no life in it.

3. If your approach to human development is traditional, are the characteristic of


human development from a life-span perspective acceptable? Explain your answer.
(5 points)
-Life-span perspective talks about growth, development and changes
according to environmental experiences as to what ages do you belong. Thus it is
still acceptable as the humans don’t stop developing as it is timeless.
