RESOLUTION NO. 03-174, series of 2019

“A RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE ACCOUNT WITH AN ACCOUNT NAME BRGY. GOV’T
OF MA. CRISTINA DOE ER 194/TF WITH ACCOUNT NUMBER 0322-1139-00 IN THE
LANDBANK OF THE PHILIPPINES ILIGAN BRANCH”

WHEREAS, presented for consideration of the Honorable Council is the Request Letter
from DOE for Submission of Bank Certificates to the Department of Energy to Facilitate Fund
Transfer in Accordance with DC2018-08-0021 and DO2019-01-0001;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kag. VP Echavez duly seconded by mass motion it
was;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Current Account Number 0322-1139-00 with an
Account Name BRGY. GOV’T OF MA. CRISTINA DOE ER 194/TF of Barangay Maria
Cristina with Land Bank of the Philippines, Iligan Branch, be closed and is hereby instructed to
transfer the balance amount to any of the newly opened 2 interest bearing current account with an
ACCOUNT NAME BARANGAY MARIA CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- DLF (ER 1-94) AND
BARANGAY MARIA CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- RWMHEEF (ER 1-94) of Barangay Maria
Cristina with Land Bank of the Philippines, Iligan Branch;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Barangay that Nilo
L. Laurete, Punong Barangay and Neven F. Dasmariñas, Barangay Treasurer of Barangay Maria
Cristina, Iligan City be and are hereby severally/jointly authorized to do all such acts, deeds and
things and to sign all such documents as may be required in connection with the closure of the
said account.
RESOLVED FINALLY, to furnish copy of this resolution to all concerned for their
information and appropriate action.
Unanimously carried and approved by the Sangguniang Barangay Members this 19 th day of
March, 2019 at Brgy. Ma. Cristina, ligan City.

“A RESOLUTION TO OPEN 2 INTEREST BEARING CURRENT ACCOUNT WITH AN
ACCOUNT NAME BARANGAY MARIA CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- DLF (ER 1-94) AND
BARANGAY MARIA CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- RWMHEEF (ER 1-94) IN THE
LANDBANK OF THE PHILIPPINES ILIGAN BRANCH”

WHEREAS, presented to the Honorable Council the proposal to open New Account of
Barangay Maria Cristina for consideration its day-to-day financial transactions;
WHEREAS, the Department of Energy (DOE) has issued Department Order (DO) No.
DO2019-01-0001 “Providing the Internal Guidelines and Procedures for the Transfer of Existing
Funds in Relation in Relation to the Financial Benefits under Energy Regulations (E.R.) No. 1-
94”, relative to the promulgation of Department Circular (DC) DC2018-08-0021 entitled,
“Providing for the Amendments to Rule 29 Part (A) of the Implementing Rules and Regulations
of Republic Act No. 9136;
WHEREAS, the said DO took effect on 28 December 2018 and it defines the guidelines
and procedures to facilitate the transfer of the existing ER 1-94 funds to qualified distribution
utilities and host communities;
WHEREAS, the existing funds collected from Generating Facilities shall be directly
transferred by DOE to the accounts of the designated beneficiaries;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kag. OP Alquiza duly seconded by mass motion it
was;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Current Account with an ACCOUNT NAME
BARANGAY MARIA CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- DLF (ER 1-94) AND BARANGAY MARIA
CRISTINA- AGUS VI & VII- RWMHEEF (ER 1-94) of Barangay Maria Cristina with Land Bank of
the Philippines, Iligan Branch, be opened;
