 This is basically a data warehouse project where we need to incorporate data


warehouse concepts to load to Model tables in Netezza.
 Developed a series of ETL components such as Source to stage mapping, stage to
Preload mapping (incorporating the main business logic), an SCD2 mapping and
lastly the Datawarehouse table loading mapping.
 While developing the ETL components we follow different informatica loading
strategies wherever applicable for fast loading as this being a data warehouse project,
the data volume is immense.
 Monitoring the jobs which run in batch in UAT and PROD, through scheduler
Autosys.
 Also involved in migration activities from lower to higher Environment.

 Used UNIX shell scripting to manipulate the processed data.
 The Intermediate Flat files generated were loaded into HIVE tables based on processed date
partitions.

 Effectively used Big data environment. Used specific Informatica BDE transformations like Data
Processor transformation to convert the data from EBCDIC to ascii format.
