Description:
PINE is first and foremost a Marketing Transformation Program. The PINE technology solution
will replace the current solution, managed by an external vendor, running on decade old IBM
infrastructure which will go end of life in June 2019. The current solution has limited
capabilities impacting the ability to extract the full value from our Marketing data, for
example, unable to leverage un-structured data, predominantly batch processing, lack of
formalized data quality and governance and requires heavy manual intervention to support
marketing campaigns. Building an in-house solution, within our datacenter in Durham NC,
allows us to take control of our data, build a solution on Dell industry leading products and
enable automation of processes, while creating a lower operating cost. At its simplest, PINE
will ingest data from over 200 data feeds into a Greenplum database, where it can be
accessed by the All-Sight solution to cleanse, match and de-dupe data to create a
marketable contact, as input into a wide array of Marketing campaign management
activities.
