1) Executive summary :

Electricity is an essential part of our daily life and important to Bangladesh economy as well.
People use electricity for lightning, heating, cooling and refrigeration and for operating
appliances, computers, electronics, machinery and public transportation system.
My company name is "Meridian Force" a firm that produce and import solar panels and other
amazing solar electronic devices that can change the image of rural areas and improve the
lifestyle of our countries people.
Solar energy is energy derived from sunlight. Sun already powers our planet providing the
necessary energy to keep our environment and population growing. Sun is a free,
sustainable,clean resources we can leverage in place of conventional electricity to power our
lives. Solar panels aery good for the environment, it is reliable, cost effective energy source ( a
one-time installation of folar equipment is all that's needed to reap the benefits), it saves
people money in the long run, it create jobs and spurs economic growth, it promotes energy
independence. In addition to the environmental benefits solar energy will bring about major
economic and social gains. The creation of a solar energy system offers an unexpected and
unique change to release industrial society from the harmful consequences of the industrial
revolution and to make available it's positive accomplishments particularly the social,
democratic and cultural opportunities made possible by freeing mankind from slave labor to all
of mankind. solar industries are not highly dependent on the historically low price of a key raw
materials, like gasoline to remain profitable.

2) Company Description :

Meridian Force is a eco friendly company which can help people from electricity sufferings with
a very reliable cost. Meridian Force is designed to be financially profitable, technically feasible
and good for investors, customers, staff, the community at large, and the
environment.
This idea came from the critical situation of trishal where students are unable to study properly
and University's teachers harassment due to lack of electricity service facility, and other firms
that cannot run their machineries due to loss of electricity.
The company is in its start-up stage, but it is getting very popular now a days. Analysing the
growth we hope that it will be one of the most successful firms in our country.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality cost effective renewable energy power products
and services to customers that are interested in reducing energy costs and carbon footprint. .
The responsibility of business is to ensure that
there is economic activity that helps the world to progress, and initiatives
that address the subject of solar energy and energy efficiency are a priority

Description of product's :

A solar cell panel, solar electric panel, photo-voltaic (PV) module or just solar panel is an
assembly of photo-voltaic cells mounted in a framework for installation. Solar panels use
sunlight as a source of energy to generate direct current electricity. A collection of PV modules
is called a PV panel, and a system of PV panels is called an array. Arrays of a photovoltaic
system supply solar electricity to electrical equipment.

Our target market is the people who want to save their money and also want to consume the
full time electricity, university teachers , hostel owners of trishal and energy independence
seekers as well.
We also sell our product to the commercials and also for industrial revolutions.
Our firm differentiate itself relative to competitors by arranging some unique offers such as
personal website and facebook page for online business, home delivery, exclusive expert
suggestions etc .

3) Industry Analysis :

Bangladesh has fast-increasing electricity demand and it has very high sun irradiation levels.
Bangladesh had installed XX GW of PV solar energy capacity in 2014, and has since added at
least XX GW of new solar capacity every year. The government has also been moving forward
strongly on clean energy and has a goal to reach XX GW by 2020.

Bangladesh solar power market, is estimated to be USD XX billion in 2016, and is projected to
grow to USD XX billion by 2021, at a CAGR of XX percent. The combination of a proven feed-in-
tariff (FiT) scheme, good financing opportunities, a large availability of skilled PV companies,
and good public awareness of the PV technology is attributable to the growth of the solar
energy power in the Bangladesh.

On the flipside, high initial investment, intermittent energy source, and requirement of large
installation area to setup solar farms, are restraining the market growth.

In the recent years, a lot of research has been going on in this field to make solar panel
production easier, cheaper and also make them smaller, sleeker and more customer friendly.
Lot of efforts are being put into increasing the efficiency of solar panels, which used to have a
very meagre efficiency percentage. Different techniques like nano-crystalline solar cells, thin
film processing, polymer processing and many more are expected to help the future of this
industry.
Our firm will fit in the gap of the social problems like inefficient supply of electricity, big amount
of current bills, load-shedding sufferings and most importantly unemployment. My firm
"Meridian Force" have positive social impact such as decreasing electric bills from low income
individuals, decreased dependency on public utilities, an improved environment from reduced
pollution and job creation.

As we know that one of the most important attributes of a good entrepreneur is having a keen
observation ability. Basically, seeing what needed in people's everyday lives and coming up with
innovative new ideas and services that meet those needs. I always believe that entrepreneurs
that anticipated trends and maintain observations of what's needed to solve those needs will
have a higher chance of succeeding in the marketplace.
When looking at environmental trends to discern new business ideas, there are two caveats to
keep in mind. First, it's important to distinguish between trends and fads. Second, even though
we discuss each trend individually, they are interconnected and should be considered
simultaneously when brainstorming new business ideas.

Our firm is under the Economic trends


This trend search for alternatives to traditional fossil fuels like gasoline which is solar power.

Long-Term prospects:

Our goal is to establish close relationships with the rural areas and cities in order to become the
main source of clean, sustainable energy.
Utility Companies: We will work closely with the local utility companies to deliver energy via our
farms to local residents and busineses
Homeowners: There are a large number of houses in my company’s location with a large
number of university students rented there. We plan to reach out to these families and
convince them that turning to a sustainable energy source is an investment that will benefit
them forever.

renewable energy sources and thus promote the use of our solar farm for energy.

Solar panel market has been segmented into product type such as, polycrystalline, mono-
crystalline and thin-film of solar panels.
Poly-crystalline panels accounted for the largest share of the global solar panel market in 2017.
This can be recognized for its wide range of applications for Poly-crystalline and high
competence coupled with the affordable price range. The mono-crystalline segment is
anticipated to register significant growth within the forecast period owing to their technological
advancement and their commendable efficiency. Solar panels are photovoltaic that produce
electricity with sunlight. Solar Panel continuously generates electricity as long as a source of
light is supplied. Solar Panel does not burn fuel, helping to make the process quiet, pollution-
free and around two to three times more efficient than combustion technologies.

They will have heaters, air conditioning systems, multiple large TVs. Conserving energy is not

The idea of not needing energy from another source fills these types of consumers with joy.
They may already have or are looking to buy an electric car.
This means they want to control the generation, storage and consumption of electricity.
As such, they may be interested in getting a battery to go alongside their panels.
They may be in an area where there are many power interruptions. They may feel frustrated
that their daily lives are being interrupted by something out of their control.

A firm's marketing strategy refers to its overall approach for marketing its products and
services. A firm's overall approach typically bolls down to how it positions itself in its market
and how it differentiates itself from its competitors. My firm's marketing plan is given below,

Unlike other products, solar panels have not reached a stage where they can pull the
customers. So the very basic concept of marketing is applied at all levels to establish the solar
business. The combination of the product feature, price, place & promotion is known as the
marketing mix. When these are listed in detail, one can get a fair idea as how to strategize its
business.

Product:

Depending on the need and the customers there are no. of solar cells. Mainly crystalline and
thin-film solar cell is used. Detailed information on Panels, transformers, inverters, Batteries &
necessary construction equipment should be included in the proposal to inform the client of
what they are buying. This forms the quality of solar pv cells and the reliability which customers
look into before making a purchase. The product attributes and reliability have to be captured.

Price:

One of the important barriers in the growing solar market. The various price mechanism
policies by local/state government, financing options by the government are making it possible
for the new customers make a purchase. Every state has a different pricing policy when it
comes to solar pv. The primary goal is to promote green energy among customers. Giving tax
exemptions and reducing other duties are few of the measures.

Place:

Channels through which solar is sold, also is an area where solar programs have an important
role through their work with installers, developers, and suppliers. Building a strong supplier
network is critical in keeping up with rising demand. There are umpteen developers who
directly involve in selling and distribution. The goal should be to ensure that customers will be
able to access the services in an easier way without much transact delay.

photovoltaics, or indirectly, like solar thermal plants, into electricity
Needed equipment’s are solar cells, charge controller , battery, inverter, grid-tied systems etc.

8) Challenges and risks:


Unlimited access to energy sources is essential for modern development. Especially, for a
developing country like Bangladesh, having a sustained energy supply is a prerequisite for
economic growth. To alleviate poverty in the face of limited resources and high population
density, Bangladesh requires a sustainable economic growth model where renewable energy
sources are used properly. This paper represents a baseline overview of prospects and
challenges of renewable energy resources in that country. The latest studies regarding
renewable energy and associated energy storage systems have been collected from different
government departments and the private sector including NGOs which are working on solar
power, wind power generation, biomass and biogas energy, and hydro energy systems. This
paper concludes that Bangladesh has the opportunity to meet its future power demands and
thus economic growth through renewable energy.

and sweat equity.
b) Friends and family: I have used total 10% of my total financing from my friends and family.
c) Bootstrapping: I have used remaining 20% from bootstrapping. The ways to collect my
bootstrapping method is given below,
