I first realized I wished to study accounts at a rather tender age, when it struck me that almost every other

news article was somehow related to accounting and finance. I always desired to know and learn more.
My consistent academic records reflect my determined and studious attitude throughout my schooling
years. The prospect of doing Master’s Program was very intriguing as I was a Tax/Finance Consultant.
The subject of accountancy truly fascinates me and how society adapts to an ever changing mechanism
with the advancement in technology is something that solidified my interest in the field. I have always
been of the opinion that accounting bears the guidelines and deterrents that are fundamentally essential
for functioning of any organization. My aspiration to study accounting stemmed from my eager sense of
understanding the nuance of money market not limiting to financial instrument but also designing data
points to foresee the enlarged gains and to keep up with the modern fast-paced society, something that can
only be achieved by a comprehensive understanding of the foundation that govern us.

Masters in Accounting program at University of New Haven has the perfect blend of subjects like Data
Visualization, Business Analytics, Analytics which will not only help me hone my skills but also such
deep specialization will tailor to my need of being successful in the accounting and analytics field. The
Accounting Analytics Track changes the whole dynamic of the program as it deep dives into an area
which is the need of today’s accounts professional. Having studied the program very closely, I believe
that Accounting Analytics Track will be very useful to refine my thought process and subject matter and
level of expertise of world renowned faculty in Accounting at University of New Haven will equip me to
serve better in my professional career.

Being part of an organizational team taught me the importance of communicating amicably with team
members, dealing with difficult situations and contributing as a team, and I am sure that these lessons will
serve me well in the future. I believe that theoretical knowledge alone is not enough to be a good
accountant; practical knowledge and experience also play an important role. The course curriculum will
not only offer practical knowledge but also provide me with tools to develop myself so that I am able to
add value to dynamic businesses.

I intend to pursue my career in the field of Accounting as I believe that this field has vast expanse of
untapped potential. I am convinced that a Master’s Program along with a specialization in Analytics at
your esteemed university will be the most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step
towards achieving my objectives. I would be very grateful and indebted to you if given the opportunity to
pursue my Masters studies at University of New Haven and I will try to deliver to the best of my abilities.
