MDC RESOLUTION NO. 4-2022

A RESOLUTION FAVORABLY APPROVING THE SUPPLEMENTAL INVESTMENT


PROGRAM NO. 5 S-2022 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF GITAGUM, MISAMIS
ORIENTAL, FUNDED UNDER RA 7171 & RA 8240 WITH THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF
FIFTY MILLION THREE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY
PESOS ONLY (50,361,690.00).

WHEREAS, pursuant to the relevant provision of Local Government Code, the LGU can
prepare a supplemental AIP when available resources warrants;

WHEREAS, there is a release of funds from collection of Excise Tax, FY 2018,


Collection of Burley and Native Tobacco Excise Tax, FY 2018 and 2019 amounting to
PHP 2,425,353.50, and PHP 17,543,494.50 respectively, with the total amount of PHP
50,361,690.00 which serves as an important tool to prioritize the programs, projects and
activities of the LGU;

WHEREAS, one of the programs thrust and policies of the Municipality of Gitagum,
Misamis Oriental is to enhance the agricultural productivity of the farmers;

WHEREAS, the above-mentioned fund is intended to implement the identified priority,


programs, projects and activities of the municipality in order to realize the socio-
economic and agricultural development of the Municipality as follows;

WHEREAS, on the motion of Hon. Jim Jamis, duly seconded by all, it was;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to favorably approve the Supplemental Investment


Program No. 5 S-2022 of the Local Government of Gitagum for CY 2022 under RA
7171 and RA 8240 with the total amount of 50,361,690.00 to support the various
projects and programs stated to continuously implement the priority development,
activities of the municipalities;

RESOLVES FINALLY, to authorized the MDC Secretary to transcribe the resolution


and furnish copies to the Sangguniang Bayan of Gitagum, Misamis Oriental for its
adoption and approval;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, this 26th day of May, 2022, during the 2nd Quarter
Gitagum Municipal Development Council meeting at Gitagum, Sangguniang Bayan
Session Hall, Misamis Oriental.
