4.1 Introductory Prayer
Activity Roll Call of Attendance
(10 minutes)
a. Opening Activity: Begin by asking the students if they have ever come across
information online or in the media that they were unsure was true or relevant. Have a brief
discussion about their experiences.
b. Learning Objectives: Explain the objectives of the lesson, what they will learn, and how it
can be useful to them.
c. Key Terms: Introduce and define the key terms such as relevance, truthfulness,
accuracy, and credibility.
4.2 Activity a. Watch Video: Play a short video that presents a particular point of view or perspective.
(10 minutes) The video should be about a current event or a topic that is relevant to the students' lives.
You can use any source, such as YouTube or a news website.
b. Take Notes: Instruct the students to take notes while watching the video. Ask them to
identify the key ideas presented in the video.
c. Group Discussion: Divide the students into small groups and have them discuss the key
ideas presented in the video. Encourage them to ask questions and challenge each other's
ideas.
4.3 Analysis a. Whole Group Discussion: Bring the class back together and have a whole group
(5 minutes) discussion. Ask the students to share their thoughts on the relevance and truthfulness of
the ideas presented in the video.
b. Analyze the Source: Have a discussion about the source of the video and its credibility.
Ask students to consider factors such as the author's background, the publication or
website, and any biases or agendas that may be present.
