NARRATIVE REPORT: SCI-MATH

Republic Colleges of Guinobatan, Inc. had its Science-Mathematics Month Celebration on


November 23, 2022, demonstrating that the organization's commitment to excellence and
adversity is still being upheld.
Replacing the specified theme with its own, Republic Colleges put forward Science and
Mathematics: Discovery of Life and Technology.
The Sci-Math Month is an annual initiative that seeks to highlight the value of scientific and
mathematical knowledge in a variety of spheres of life. It is organized and managed by the
Science and Mathematics Departments along with our dearest advisors, Ms. Jinky Aydalla & and
Mr. Ardwin Osila Bonillia.
The departments in this new normal education came up with the notion to celebrate this by
holding interactive, competitive events. The exercises were designed to inspire the students to
demonstrate their academic prowess, abilities, and creativity, which in turn grew and
strengthened their self-confidence.
Additionally, the program gave the students a broad grasp of the importance of science and
math in creating a more prosperous and resilient country for future generations.
This year's celebration of Sci-Math Month is evidence of the school's tenacity and its
unwavering commitment to provide high-quality instruction despite the global crises that have
occurred in recent years.
The high school department has prepared a number of events that will entice students to
participate and compete with one another while showing their various knowledge and
experiences. All RCnian students, especially those in Grades 7 through 12, are encouraged to
participate in the activity.
The first activity was SWITCH, a fun activity that lets children experiment with things like
transforming their gender identities. It is done by having girls wear boy's clothing and boys
dress like girls. They had to wear the clothes for a few hours before they could stay in them.
However, mathematical symbols and characters have been sewn into their attire. It enhances
the ability to think creatively about how to make their attire stand out from the crowd by
utilizing those science- and math-related items.
They will present themselves in those garments, just as in the pageant, and they will answer a
series of amusing questions. Although it sounds silly, it is actually very fascinating. Wearing the
clothing of your opposite gender in front of a crowd is a wonderful experience and emotion. It
enables students to comprehend the reality of femininity and masculinity. On the basis of their
talent and inventiveness, the candidates were graded. The greatest and most qualified
contenders for the title of Mr. and Ms. Switch will be chosen by the judges after displaying their
designs.
The following task was the quiz bee. Since every student will take part in this activity, groups of
five students will be formed. Three different difficulty levels of questions make up the exercise.
General knowledge of physics and mathematics will be required to answer the questions. For
the kind of inquiries, there are numerous options and identification. Each right response will
receive points in accordance with it. The winner will be the person who received the most
points up until the final question.
Students were eager to join and take part in the quiz bee competition because it would allow
them to demonstrate their knowledge, what they have learned, and what they have
experienced as learners during the year.
The Amazing Race was the final activity; this game is extremely comparable to parlor games
because it offers more fun and amusement. It includes a variety of games related to science and
math. Students' minds and talents are being developed as a result of this festivity. It is
enjoyable while also being important and helpful to them as modern students.
This type of instruction is provided by the institution to Republic Colleges students in an effort
to increase their enthusiasm and self-assurance. They might develop new information and
abilities as a result, increasing their productivity and knowledge.
