1.What is Digital Quotient (DQ)?
DQ is - a single, simple metric that tracks the digital maturity of talent. It helps you navigate your capability development through the value chain of
building Competence, creating Impact and generating Value
8. How many points will I get for Digital Exposure through reskilling?
For completing certifications of a skill tag area you will gain 10 points. You can gain up to a maximum of 30 points for 3 areas. You will need to
complete all the mandatory certifications that are aligned to a learning path of a skill tag area to gain 10 points.
Through a combination of gaining Knowledge, Experience and Expertise you can move the Proficient
next skill proficiency level. While all the above mentioned parameters are not required to be
completed – a single certification or recommendation is unlikely to contribute to level Considered skilled in application of the skills and
increase. A combination across Knowledge, Experience and Expertise is required. also develops others by giving trainings,
publishing papers, mentoring others etc.
Each level of the skill proficiency carries 5 points. However, if the skill is a digital skill, you can
get 10 points at the Competent level.

11. What is Tag Proficiency?
• Tag Proficiency shows the expertise of a Tagged employee in a digital Skill tag.
• Applicable only for Tagged employees
• Measures expertise of an employee using a combination of Knowledge, Experience and Expertise Compass
• Increases as employee gain more “Knowledge”, “Experience” and “Expertise” in Skill tag

Tag Proficiency levels can be increase with a combination of 1. Knowledge, 2. Experience and 3. Expertise
While all the above mentioned parameters (mentioned in bullet points) are not required to be completed to increase

Knowledge, Experience and Expertise is required.

12. How many points will I get for increasing my tag proficiency?
When you move from Beginner to Competent you gain 10 points and when you move from competent to proficient you will gain another 10 points.
15. What does leading resilient teams mean? I don’t have a team currently.
Leading Resilient Teams is the measure of your ability to build a digitally ready and highly engaged team. You can gain DQ points by creating a
team with high DQ and consistently having a Pulse satisfaction score of >75%. In case you do not lead a team, you can look to increase your DQ in
other areas.
16. How many points can I get for leading resilient teams?
You can get 10 points by building a highly engaged team i.e avg >75% satisfaction score on Pulse (4 quarter rolling weighted average -
score*participation) and 20 points if your team’s DQ is 25% higher than the organization average.

18. I am already working in the unit aligned to NSO (New service offerings), but still not skill tagged. When will I get the skill tag?
For bagging a Skill tag there are two main steps -1) Completing all the mandatory courses aligned to the skill tag and 2) 3 months of NSO
experience. You will be eligible to get the skill tag only if you satisfy both the conditions.
19. Is there any limit to the number of reskilling areas/Skill tags that one can take up?
There is no limit to the number of areas one can learn but an individual will get points in DQ only for 3 areas/reskilling . The areas where an individual
is scoring highest points will be considered
20. By how many points will my DQ increase if I just complete one reskilling certification from the Skill tag learning path?
All the mandatory certifications in the learning path for a skill tag area will have to be completed, only then DQ would increase by +10 points.
21. I have few endorsements on one of my Top 3 skills, but there is no increase in my DQ.
DQ will increase only if there is an increase in Proficiency level i.e. when someone moves from Beginner to Competent level or from Competent to
Proficient. A combination of knowledge, experience and expertise of a skill is required to increase proficiency level. Manager endorsements, advanced
certifications, publications can help in adding to knowledge, experience and expertise – which in turn can help in increasing skill proficiency.
26.I have done many trainings on LEX – but my Digital Exposure (reskilling) still says 0 points.
Only reskilling certifications of skill tag areas are considered for Digital Exposure section of DQ
27. Is the Digital Specialist career stream different from Tech Arch and Consulting?
Yes, it is a new career stream
28. I have received the email for a skill tag, but my points are not updated.
Please allow for 2-3 weeks for the points to be reflected in the system.
29. I have an external certification for my skills. Can that be considered for DQ points?
Yes. External certifications in the reskilling certifications of skill tag areas are considered for DQ points. You can upload your certifications for
validation on LEX.
31. My Project experience is not updated on the system. How can I correct that?

32. How do I know what I should do to increase my Digital Quotient?

34. I have completed recommended certifications for a skill tag area on Lex to increase my Digital Quotient score. but my score hasn’t
increased yet.
Each Each skill area reskilling certification has multiple learning paths etc. please check if you have completed all the mandatory courses required
for the certification. You can check this on Compass – against the skill tag names. The certification data refreshes about once in two weeks – you
should see in increase after that.
