CHAPTER III

METHODOLOGY

This chapter presents the researcher design, locale of the study respondents of the
study, sampling technique, research instrument, data gathering procedure and statistical tools.

Research Design

This study will use the descriptive survey research design or descriptive method

which on to intended gathers information from sample respondents by use of questionnaires.

This design is also chosen because it allow the researcher to obtained both quantitative and

qualitative data regarding instructor’s motivating factors this new normal and the academic

performance of the students.

Locale of the study

The study will be conducted in Datu Ibrahim Paglas Memorial. Datu Paglas

Maguindanao.

Respondents of the study

The respondent of this study will be the students in Datu Ibrahim Paglas

Memorial College academic year 2021-2022.


Research Instrument

The researcher use the survey questionnaire as the main instrument in

gathering the needed data for the study.

Sampling Technique

The sampling procedure utilizes the non-probability sampling design,

specifically the purposive sampling, since only instructors’ motivating factors to the

academic of the students will considered in this study.

Data Gathering Procedure

The researcher shall ask permission to conduct the study from the College

Dean and upon its approval a referral letter shall be tilden from the Research

Coordinator to introduce the researcher to the College of Education Head, upon its

approval, shall be launched and shall be retrieved as the questionnaire. The researcher

retrieved, analyzed, and soon as possible for further processing.

Statistical Tools

The data gathered from the survey shall be tallied, tabulated, integrated and

analyzed using the frequency counts, percentage distribution and the mean and

ground mean.
