preparation of inspection strategy based on relevant damage mechanisms.
 Visual inspection and witnessing NDT (RT, UTT, PT, MT), heat treatment & PMI.
 Preparation of Inspection reports and issuing Recommendations based on findings for
safe operation.
 Inspection for corrosion under insulation in equipment’s, piping and thickness survey.
 Attending different types of repairs in pressure vessels & piping.
 Carrying out thorough visual inspection complemented with NDT examination on pressure vessels,
columns, heat exchanger and process piping systems as per planned frequency to assure the
mechanical integrity.
 Witnessed hydrostatic and pneumatic test for pressure vessels & Piping.
 Welder qualifications and review of documents such as PQR, WPS, ITP, and WPQ.

Flange Management Experience:

 Identify standard of flange, pressure rating, flange types, flange facing types, flange materials,
gasket type, gasket material, bolt material, operating temperature, operating pressure, test
temperature as per B16.5 &B16.20.
 Responsible for verification of flange prior to assembly.
 Responsible for witnessing pressure and tightness testing of completed flange joint.
 Responsible for inspection of gaskets, nuts and stud bolts against specification, correct
sequence and number of tightening passes required for torque and tensioned bolts.
 Responsible to identify defects, distortion and surface irregularities on flange seating faces and
flange flatness.

Overall Experience
 Stage wise internal/external inspection of Heat exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Air Fin Coolers
(AFC), Reactors, Boilers & Heaters.
 Internal inspection of Columns trays, tray support rings, tray physical condition, down comer,
inlet section etc.,
 Inspection of physical condition of Furnace coils, burners, supports etc...
 Conducted and witnessed WQT, PQR as per approved procedure and applicable code.
 Prepared WPS as per the SEC IX and project requirement.
 Preparation, review of method statements, quality control procedure, repairs procedure.
 Inspection of incoming materials for confirmation with PO and visual inspections as per the
relevant drawings and documents.
 Responsibility to conducting inspection, witnessing and monitoring of work activities in
accordance with the approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
 Inspection of piping & welding activities using SMAW, GTAW process.
 Monitoring of welders and welding activities at site as per quality standards.
 Carry out visual and dimensional checks of piping spools as per approved drawings.

 Supervision and inspection of welding preheat and post weld heat treatment.
 Maintained welder’s qualification matrix and renewals, repair rates updating.
 Performed and Witnessed of PMI, UT, MPI, and DPT at site as per SEC V.
 Inspection of welding consumables, welding materials and handling, storage as per approved /
existing procedure /manufacturer’s recommendations.
 Line checking as per latest revision of drawings.
 Witnessed Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test and Reinstatement activities
