Duties/
Responsibilities
In-service inspection of plant assets, including piping, vessels, & tanks including:
• Carrying out / Witness tank dimension inspection (peaking, banding, roundness,
foundation settlement, shell settlement and bottom settlement).
• Perform external and/or internal inspection over all the plant vessels (separators,
tanks, heaters, towers, heat exchangers…) according to inspection plan with
specific interval time be determined according to code.
• Evaluation and assessment the dimension check readings according to API 510 &
API 570, and then prepare the final report with suitable repair recommendations.
• Carrying out on-stream inspection monitoring of operating plant and verify all
maintenance activities and project work to ensure safe and reliable operations in
refinery services.
• Conducting internal and external planned and unplanned inspections on all static
equipment/facilities.

 • Monitoring the repair as per company/international standards for their final
acceptance after the required tests.
• Issuing equipment final inspection reports documenting all the findings, NDT

corrosion groups.

• Acting as authorized inspector in terms of applicable codes and carry out all
inspection activates according to related international standards API 510, and API

• Supervising the NDT Inspectors activities, and carrying out NDT inspection
methods Interpretation, which are radiographic testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing
(UT), and Liquid penetrate testing (PT), and magnetic particle testing (MT), visual
testing (VT) and hydrostatic pressure testing.
• Follow up the Repair activities, and perform the final inspection after repair is
completed.
• Uploading data on RBI software (ANTEA) for inspected assets.
• Preparation of inspection plan (Monthly, Quarterly & Annually Plans) for process
piping, oil tanks, vessels and wells flow lines.
• In addition to technical activities mentioned above responsible as well on
