Upon completion of, this module. The trainees must be able to;
1. Clean vehicle unit
2. Maintain and service the vehicle system

A. Introduction
This unit of competency involves the skills and knowledge and required to carry out basic
servicing and maintenance of a light vehicle such as cleaning the vehicle. It also includes
the action to implement the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications for routine checks and
maintenance and that the vehicle is operational to the requirements of both the workplace
and the relevant road and traffic authority.
