IV. PROCEDURES
A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson
Play music and let the student pass the ball. As the music stop, student who hold the ball will answer the question related to
abbreviations and equivalent. The same student will also match the electrical signs to their corresponding description.

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson

Let the students read the objectives to be accomplished:
a) identify the types of diagram;
b) differentiate series circuit from parallel circuit and illustrate them;
c) enumerate electrical fixtures;
d) appreciate the importance of electrical wiring diagram and plan
C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson
“Word Hunt” The class will be divided into two groups. “Male & Female Group”. Each group will locate and circle the words related
to electrical wiring and plan.
D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skill #1
Show pictures regarding types of diagram and let the students watch video clip about types of circuit. Ask students to identify types
of diagram and let them differentiate types of circuit.
E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skill #2
Show sample of electrical plan and ask students regarding electrical fixtures.
F. Developing Mastery
The class will be divided into four groups. Let them draw a schematic diagram of the following:
1. Two bulbs connected in series controlled by a single pole switch using direct current.
2. Four bulbs connected in parallel controlled by a single pole switch using alternating current.
Let them present their answers to the class.
G. Finding practical applications of concepts & skills in daily living
How can you apply your knowledge about electrical wiring and plans to your lives?
H. Making generalizations & abstractions about the lesson
Let them read and reflect the quote of Napoleon Hill, “Plan your work and work your plan”.
I. Evaluating Learning
I. Answer the following:
1. What are the two types of diagram?
2. Differentiate the two types of circuit
II. Interpret the electrical plan by counting the number of electrical fixtures.

III. How can you apply your knowledge about electrical wiring and plans to your lives?
J. Additional activities for application or remediation
