Personal career development: Explain why completing the INEMA programme would be of benefit to
your OWN career. (500 words max)

I aim to enroll myself in the INEMA program as I believe it to be a key, key to solutions
for the problems which have arisen in the wake of the contemporary developments
through globalization and with ever-changing and disappearing global boundaries,
especially after Covid-19 and the profound economic and geopolitical rift it created.
Students from various backgrounds were taken aback and limited to their community
silos. . These students are the pivots of the upcoming times and we must step forward
and take the initiative to develop a cohesive society by working on much-ignored
qualities of acceptance, diversity, and understanding across borders, an essential one,
thus respecting differences and reviving humanity.

I firmly believe this course will enable me to increase my competence through


immersing myself in the practical experiences it has to offer. Also, the fact that in my
nation the master’s degree has become a mere status symbol so everyone is doing it,
leading to devaluation of its academic and professional worth, an international degree
will act as a boost to my profile and overall competitiveness. The program will also
enhance my intellectual growth by providing new challenges leading to new career
opportunities and building upon my network which very beneficial in today’s job market.
I personally want to work with international organizations to work towards the
development of education framework supporting a holistic structure of learning. Build
upon this experience I intend to operate my own agency which would work further on
specific target regions.

I believe that this course will develop my competencies to lead, enhance my area of
influence and enable me to positively impact society through NGOs and the local
community. Having insight into the best practices through this course will assist me, I
will be able to share, train and mentor similar skills to my colleagues to develop effective
learning communities. Being an advocate of Education for Sustainable Development
(ESD), the course will help me understand the loopholes and shortcomings previously
not realized in our educational system and develop a contingency plan to support a
better sustainable education framework.

Having completed my master's I realized that I have just embarked on a journey that is
not just wide but deep too, I believe that having a relevant base will help me in diving
further, acquiring new knowledge and implementing it, and maybe one day, creating it.

Relevance for your country: Explain how the INEMA qualification might be of benefit to your society
in a more general sense. (200 words max.)

For the current scenario of teaching and the state it is in, every step towards development is
in itself a praise worthy endeavor. The Pakistani education system is on its brink, the system
is in a disarray, with up to three forms of education streams, the madrassah system, the
matric system and the O level system. The job holders are the ones which are unable to find
proper jobs in their relevant industry. This qualification will enable us to be more specialized
towards the field and bringing forth the necessary competencies as demanded by it.

The initial steps are to develop programs at the grass root levels in the community, working
alongside the NGOs’ and relevant bodies to develop Human Development Index in order to
meet the growing needs of the upcoming generations.

The program would allow the development of a concept, an acceptance, across boundaries,
a sense of belonging by uplifting education and promoting cohesion and inclusion amongst
the broken society.

INEMA degree programme: Explain in your own words INEMA (structure, contents, e.g.
specific modules of particular interest to you). (450 words max.)

In my view the structure of the program is an interesting one, it opens window to the
post covid-19 approach, a hybrid structure with freedom to make a personal
decisions on when to pace up the program. Coaching is essential feature which
many universities don’t offer along with transfers, which really built up on the
education experience. The Extra-occupational blended learning format provides
with the opportunity to keep working with the education program.

The different modules which the program offers is intriguing, especially study field
B, as it has the most vastness in terms of concepts, ranging from cost management
and budgeting, a very relevant concept especially in this period of recession due to
various global events. Then there is curriculum development, an insightful arena,
working on the practicalities of various approaches, my personal is of John Dewy for
his viable methods. The cost management plays a pivotal role in determining the
kind of approach taken by the institutions, the education approach is in fact
determined by it, in order to make it fully operational. Educational Marketing is the
core of academic world, countries and agencies must learn to project themselves
the right way in order to avoid bad investments, not just for students but also from
the institutions perspective, as having disgruntled students is not really an apples
eye for any organization. Another module offers development cooperation in
education, which would give a substantial rise to cross boundary initiatives for
different programs, promoting homogeneity and cross-cultural understanding
through experiencing diversity.

Study field E is also quite appealing to me as it provides a hands on approach, in


education this has a lot of importance as many students are unable to experience
most of what they learn in their classes. Such programs are recommended for an
holistic overall growth.

Financing: Please state how you will finance INEMA (e.g. personal savings, family/partner/
employer support).

I aim to finance my studies through the DAAD Epos Scholarship.
