3.1 Fabrication Tolerance in accordance with IS 7215 – 1974 and Metal Building Manufactures Association (MBMA)

Welding Process, Procedure and Qualification in accordance with Applicable requirements of structural welding code IS 819 - 1979, IS

Submerged arc welding:

Submerged arc welding is most widely used method for welding thick section in downhand position being a

highly economical method for Fabrication. As products must meet more stringent requirement of quality,

requiring more flexible processes to reduce cost, further improvements is studied. Quality control aspects are

also becoming more important to meet regulation and monitoring and control of Welding Processes, and the

standardized testing of joints will meet all the requirements.

4 Steel work finish

Only standard and straight colours like Smoke Grey - 692, Dark Grey - 632,Oxford Blue - 105, Light Grey - 631 ( Asian Paint or equal make)

5 Changes and Revisions

The Above offered price is based on present ruling rates of raw materials and labour cost and should there be any increase in raw

Any change or revision to the above stated scope of supply may lead to a variation in the price and delivery period. For any change on

6 Approval drawings

We will issue approval drawings within a minimum period of 10 working days from date of signing contract and receipt of Advance

CLIENT must return the accepted Approval Drawings preferably within 1 week thereafter, otherwise, may result in revision to delivery

7 Delivery period

7.1 GSSPL will supply the material within 5-6 weeks from the latest date of receipt of the approval drawing from Client.

7.2 Installation of work will be completed within 4-6 weeks from the supply of materials.

7.3 Signed supply contract / Purchase order.

7.4 Balance payment as specified in supply Contract.

7.5 Approval drawings duly signed and approved.

8 Additional Offer : Supply

8.1 Turbo Ventilators - HeavyDuty with sealed bearings.

8.2 Louvers - Galvalume.

8.3 Rolling Shutter with Additional Column and Beam based on Application.

8.4 Doors and Windows : Steel, UPVC, Aluminium. ( Against Client Approval )

8.5 Insulation - 50mm Rockwool, 30mm/50mm Puff Panel, (8,10,12mm) XLPE Insulation ( Against Client Approval )

8.6 Ridge Ventilator & Facia. ( Against Client Approval )

8.7 Any product or service that is not specified in this proposal. An Additional WO to be issued by Client.

9 TERMS OF PAYMENT

Supply

30% Advance along with Work order / duly signed Contract + GST.

12.5% Against our Proforma Invoice Before Supply of Steel Structure + GST.

12.5% Against our Proforma Invoice Before dispatch of Sheets + GST.


STANDARD PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS Scope As per DWG
A Standard System is Made Up of Primary Members, Secondary Members, Connections, Yes No
Roof Sheeting, Wall Sheeting, Sheeting Fasteners, Sealer, Closures, Ridge caps, Flashings and
10 Trim, Gutters and downspouts.

A PRIMARY MEMBERS
Primary Structural framing shall include Main Rafter, Gable Rafter, End column and Wind
Column, Frame Rafters and Corner Columns.

B SECONDARY MEMBERS
Secondary Structural Framing shall include the Purlins, Girts eave struts, Wind bracing, Flange
bracing, Cleats and other miscellaneous structural parts.

C PAINT OF STRUCTURAL MEMBERS


All structural members shall be cleaned to remove dirt, grease, oil and loose mill scale and
given one shop coat of primer.

D CONNECTIONS
All field connections shall be bolted (Unless otherwise noted). Primary bolted
connections shall be furnished with high strength bolts confirming to the physical
specifications of ASTM A325 (or equivalent).
Secondary bolted connections shall be furnished with machine bolts confirm to the physical
specifications of ASTM A307 (or equivalent).

E PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF STRUCTRAL MEMBERS


Members fabricated from Plate - flanges and webs joined on one side of the web by a
continues Submerged Arc Welding process and will conform to the physical specifications
having a minimum yield strength of 345 Mpa.

- Members fabricated by cold forming process shall conform to the physical specifications
having a minimum yield strength of 345 Mpa.

- Members fabricated from hot rolled structural shapes shall conform to the physical
specifications having a minimum yield strength of 250 Mpa.
- Rod and angle bracing shall conform to the physical specifications having a minimum
yield strength of 250 Mpa.

- Roof and Wall Cladding Shall conform to the physical specifications having a minimum
yield strength of 550 Mpa.

F JSW ROOF SHEETING & CLADDING SHEETING
Roofing sheet are manufactured out of High strength steel grade with tensile strength of 550
Mpa Bare Galvalume. The steel base is coated with Zinc - Aluminium alloy AZ150 as per
ASTM A792 with minimum thickness of 50mm TCT Puff sheet.
Colour coated Galvalume sheets are used for wall cladding and gable cladding. High
Tensile strength of 550 Mpa, AZ 150 with minimum thickness of 0.47mm TCT.
Roofing accessories like Barge Board, Ridge flashing, L Flashing, are as per the above
specifications.

G TATA BLUESCOPE ROOF SHEETING & CLADDING SHEETING


Roofing sheet are manufactured out of High strength steel grade with tensile strength of 550
Mpa Bare Galvalume. The steel base is coated with Zinc - Aluminium alloy AZ150 as per
ASTM A792 with minimum thickness of 0.47mm TCT. Colour
coated Galvalume sheets are used for wall cladding and gable cladding. High Tensile

H SHEETING FASTENERS
Standard fasteners shall be no. 14, Type A, self tapping sheet metal screws with metal
and neoprene washers. All screws shall have hexagonal heads, and made of Zinc plated
steel.

I FLASHING AND TRIM


Flashings and trim shall be furnished at the gable, Gable Flashing
corners, eaves framed openings and wherever
necessary to provide weather tightness and finished
appearance. Color shall be white unless otherwise
specified by client from one of GSSPL standard range Corner Flashing
of colors.

Wall Flashing

J EAVE GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS


Eave gutters shall be box shaped, color coated 0.47mm nominal thickness (26 gauge)
galvanized steel. The outside face of the gutter shall be supported with color coated 0.47
mm nominal thickness (26 gauge) profiled galvanized straps to the eave member at a
maximum spacing of 1.2m
Downspouts shall be rectangular shaped, colour coated 0.47 mm nominal thickness (26
gauge) galvanized steel Downspouts shall have a 45 degree elbow at the bottom and shall
be supported by attachment to the wall.

K ANCHOR BOLTS
These are normally supplied prior to the delivery of structural materials.
Delivery will be made after receipt of GSSPL's anchor bolts setting plans (marked - For
Construction) from our Engineering Department
