1. DepEd Order No 29,s. 2017 or the Policy Guidelines on Assessment in the K


to 12 Basic Education Program reiterates the importance of assessment of
learning outcomes to measure the effectiveness of the teaching strategies
and understanding of the Most Essential Learning Competencies in every
grade level.

2. The just concluded First Quarter Examinations gave an overview of the


practices of teachers in test item construction.

3. In this regard, this office announces the conduct of a Learning Action Cell to
benchmark and reinforce better practices and give recommendations based
on the review made by the Master Teachers and School Head on November
11, 2022, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Grade 3-Molave room.

4. Competencies in all learning areas shall be covered during the morning


session, thus, shortening of class hours is recommended.

5. Attached herewith are Enclosure 1- LAC Activity Proposal, Enclosure 2- LAC


Matrix and Enclosure 3- TWG.

6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly


desired.
