1. Love LinkedIn the way you love your business.
LinkedIn will start favoring your business.

2. Your LinkedIn profile isn’t about you. It should be

about them. What and how they can get help from you.

3. Content published and network built on LinkedIn are

the real assets that make you rich and wealthy.

4. Treat your LinkedIn profile as a landing page through

which you sell your expertise and skills.

5. The algorithm hates everyone who doesn't follow the

basic rules. And accept the fact that algorithm is
constantly changing.

6. You don’t need a huge audience to start monetizing

your account. You just need to have a specific
audience that perfectly fits your target audience.

7. Use a LinkedIn profile banner to showcase your USP

(unique selling point), add a creative image that
demonstrates your personality.

8. People don’t trust ghosts. Why should they? Your

own professional profile picture removes this barrier.
Don’t just motivate your audience.
Good content creators motivate.
Great content creators teach.
10. A LinkedIn profile with professional headshot gets
roughly 14x more profile visits and 36 times more likely
to receive a message on LinkedIn.

11. Your skills + credibility + mission statement: That’s

all you need to write a great profile headline. It’s not
only about job title, leverage the place to showcase
your expertise and credibility.

12. People come first, money comes later.

13. Set small, realistic goals and celebrate each

moment when you achieve them. It doesn’t matter how
small or big it is, what matters is you have to keep
going and you need that fuel.

14. Your about (also known as summary) section should

be all about letting them know how you can solve their
problems. Make sure to do proper SEO by placing
target keywords in the correct ratio.

15. Design your profile featured section like a “menu

bar on a website” where you can attach multiple
internal and external links.
Such as personal website link, landing page link, blog
article, calendly link, top LinkedIn posts or articles, etc.
16. Use rich media to design your LinkedIn profile.
Cover photo, experience section, education, featured
section —that’s where you can add images and show
your creativity.

17. Growth isn’t only about increasing followers or

connections but also business and making money.

18. Don’t choose just one between audience growth

and business growth. You should hunt for both. After
all, they complement each other.

19. Don’t just learn the growth secrets, strategies, tips

and tricks, —instead try to apply them and see how it
works in real life.

20. LinkedIn is not the only place and it should not be!
Twitter can be a good compliment to LinkedIn creators.

21. Every piece of content you create on LinkedIn can

also be published on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
FYI.

22. Fun fact: Every comment you write on LinkedIn

(either under your post or someone else post) can be a
potential tweet. Don’t miss this opportunity to level up
your Twitter game with even lesser effort.
People who fail to build an audience, usually
make excuses about building business.

make excuses about building an audience.
24. Write your heart out to see the magic. It always
works. Many of the viral posts don't fit into any growth
formula but it goes viral just because the honest stories
come directly from the heart.

25. LinkedIn is a business tool. Try to master it as early

as possible to start leveraging it for your business.

26. Engage with your own content immediately when

you publish it. Do it at least during your initial days.

27. Every comment/reply you write —like it. If you don’t

“like” your own comments/reply then who else is gonna
do it.

28. How to fight on LinkedIn: Don’t. The block feature

is there for a reason.

29. The algorithm isn’t against you. Your content and

engagement need to be better.

30. What if I don’t have anything to write about? Read a

book or article or simply read today's newspaper.

31. One idea, one topic, one goal and one CTA (call to
action) — that’s all you need to write a LinkedIn post.
32. Big accounts are not better than you. They just
started a little earlier! For some people your account is
big. It’s all relative.

33. Don’t hesitate to take your chances. If you want to

talk to someone, don’t just look at the followers count
or their designation — Just send a DM to them.

34. It’s absolutely fine to have no direction in the

beginning. We all figure it out on the way.

35. Be generous and have patience. You’ll get

everything you want if not today, not tomorrow then
day after tomorrow for sure.

36. Secure your LinkedIn account by enabling two

factor authentication. No clue? Just google it “LinkedIn
two factor authentication”

37. Around 60% of traffic on LinkedIn comes from

mobile devices hence it is wise to optimize your profile
and content for mobile devices as well.

38. LinkedIn has two different news feeds. One is for

mobile devices and the other is for desktop devices.
39. You don’t have to be a writer to start writing
content on LinkedIn. Being a full time software
engineer I can write, you can write too!

40. Goals, commitment, things you plan to do are

NOTHING without any action plan. Don’t just say it in
words, show it with your action.

41. Stop chasing viral content and start focusing on

delivering quality pieces of content every single day.
That compound effect is way better than any viral post.

42. Every activity you do on LinkedIn must have a

purpose. You’re losing the battle if you just try to copy
someone else's activities without understanding the
purpose.

43. Train your mind not to react when you read

negative comments about you or your work.
One in a thousand will definitely try to pull your legs
back. You can’t make everyone happy.

44. Audio and Video content might be the future

though don’t underestimate the power of the text
content.
45. Content length doesn’t matter as long as your
content triggers emotions and it generates good
engagement.

46. LinkedIn has two different news feeds. One is for

mobile devices and the other is for desktop devices.

47. Never compare your engagement, likes, views or

followers count with someone else. Everyone runs on
their own timeline and speed.

48. Just because you want to, you’ll not get a huge
following. If you really work hard on content creation,
you create multiple opportunities to earn huge
followers.

49. Everyone has a different background as their

beginning point. You can’t just compare others'
journeys with yours. Your success depends on how
long you play this game and where you stop.

50. Make writing a daily ritual. It will help you to be

healthy, wealthy and happy.

Stay focused. Stay humble. Stay creative — and of

course publish daily content!
BONUS:

Create your monthly/quarterly plans based on data.

Use data analytical tools like Shieldapp to keep
track of your metrics. Publish content from the
highest engaging content tag/pillars/buckets.

As soon as LinkedIn launches a new feature,

experiment with it for the initial few days as
LinkedIn boosts visibility for its new features.

If you are a business owner, enable the option of

providing services and allow people to InMail you
for free for any business inquiries.

If you don’t like a specific type of post, try clicking

on the option “I don't want to see this” before
removing any connection. This helps in optimizing
your home feed.
