The application manager is the controller in the Nexicon™ system.
Main features:

1.2 System description

The Nexicon™ is a programmable and extendable monitoring and con-
trol platform. Nexicon™ is designed as a modular system where each
module is configured to monitor or control different assets or set of fea-
tures. 1. Hatch

2.5 Installation requirements
The safety of any system that includes these modules is the responsi-
bility of the assembler of the system.
2 Technical Reference The safety instructions must be read before installation.
• Indoor use. The modules are rated IP20.
2.1 Dimensions and weight • Operating temperature -20°C – +60°C (-4°F – +140°F)
• For North America and other applicable markets
1 2 – The modules must be installed in an industrial control cabinet.
• IEC requirements
– The modules must be installed in a safety enclosure with mini-
mum IP44 rating.
• The modules must be installed on a Nexicon™ backplane.
• Do not block air vents. Make sure that there is sufficient air for cool-
ing.
• The modules must be installed in the direction that is shown in the
images.
• Any equipment connected to the modules must meet local stand-
ards and regulations.

• The supply and all connected voltages below 30 VRMS, 60 VDC, or


42.4 VPEAK of the unit are considered to be separated from hazard-
ous voltages.
• The system must be powered off before installing a new module.
