Transformation Sentence Rules

The document discusses different types of sentences: simple, compound, and complex. Simple sentences contain one clause with one subject and one finite verb. Compound sentences contain at least two independent clauses joined with conjunctions like "and", "but", or "or". Complex sentences contain one main clause and at least one dependent clause introduced by a subordinating conjunction like "since", "when", "although", etc. Several examples are provided to illustrate the differences between simple, compound, and complex sentences. Transformation rules are also outlined to change sentences from one type to another through minor grammatical modifications.
