Narrative Report
In an effort to enhance solid waste management practices at our school, a
dedicated committee was formed to oversee the procurement of appropriate trash bins thru
the PTA fund. The objective was to streamline waste disposal, encourage responsible waste
handling among students and staff, and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable
environment within the school premises.
After the approval of the submitted proposal the assigned agency in the City Hall
of Balanga will take charge on the procurement process. The procurement process
involved negotiating favorable terms with the chosen supplier, ensuring timely delivery,
and arranging for proper placement and labeling of the bins across the school premises.
Once the trash bins were delivered and strategically placed in the needed areas,
the school encourage and educate students and staff about the importance of using the
bins correctly and segregating waste responsibly. This initiative aimed to instill a sense of
responsibility and foster a culture of waste reduction, reuse, and recycling.

The successful procurement of appropriate trash bins for solid waste


management at the school marked a significant step towards a cleaner, greener, and more
environmentally conscious learning environment.
