1. The latest versions of the BS-200(FDA) software are operation software version 01.04.02 and control software version 1.3E. 2. To upgrade the operation software, backup data files, remove the old version, install the new version 01.04.02, and copy back the backed up data files. 3. BS-200 software upgrading guidance

The latest version of BS-200(FDA) software is listed as follows:


1. The version of operation software BS-200(FDA) is 01.04.02.
2. The version of control software BS-200(FDA) is 1.3E.

If you do not have the latest version, follow the steps below for software
upgrading:

Operation software upgrade


1. Backup data files.
Before upgrading the operation software, please firstly backup the file of
“ReacData” and “Database” under the path of “X:\Program
Files\mindray\BS200”.

2. Remove the old version software


1) Left click the “Start” button, choose “Settings” and “Control Panel”.

2) In the control panel, double click “Add or Remove Programs”.


3) Choose “BS200” then click “Remove”.
4) Follow the instructions to remove the old version of BS-200 operation
software.
3. Install the new version software.
1) Obtain the latest version operation software 01.04.02 from Mindray server.
2) Double click the Setup.exe.
3) Select the responding language, then click Next
4) When the welcome display shows, select Next.
5) Click Change and select a target directory where you want to install the
software, (if not, the default is “C:\Program Files\mindray\BS200”), then
select Next.
6) Select Install. The software will be installed in the target folder.
7) Click Finish to complete the install process.
8) Finally copy the former file of “ReacData” and “Database” back to the
same path.

Control software upgrade


1. Turn on BS-200 main power switch and analyzing unit switch.
2. Copy BS-200(FDA)Control software(v1.3E).zip to computer, and unzip
it.
3. Open the folder of control software 1.3E, run DownLoad.exe.

4. Choose COM1 (the computer RS-232 serial port currently being used to
connect the BS-200), BS-200, All units and select MainUnit.hex file from
the unzipped control software folder, then press” Start” button to start the
upgrade.
5. DownLoad.exe will automatically upgrade BS-200 control units one by one.
The total procedure will take about 15 minutes.
