One of the newest power groups in Faerûn, the
Order of the Gauntlet has an agenda similar to that
of the Harpers. Its methods are vastly different,
however: bearers of the gauntlet are holy warriors
on a righteous quest to crush evil and promote
justice, and they never hide in the shadows. Order

Kilgar, a human paladin from Waterdeep, lost his


parents to a sinister cult's actions, igniting a deep
desire for vengeance within him. He swore an oath
of retribution and joined the Order of the Gauntlet, a
group dedicated to eradicating evil. With
unwavering determination and formidable combat
skills, Kilgar became known as Kilgar the Avenger.
He roams Faerûn, hunting down cultists and
malevolent forces, determined to unravel the dark
network responsible for his family's suffering and to
protect the innocent.

As an agent of the Order, Kilgar's journey is marked


by his relentless pursuit of justice and his
commitment to upholding the values of protection
and honor that his parents cherished. With each
mission, he draws closer to his ultimate goal of
avenging his family's death and purging Faerûn of
the darkness that once touched his life so
profoundly. Kilgar's path as a paladin of vengeance
within the Order of the Gauntlet is a testament to
his unwavering dedication and his unyielding drive
to make the world a safer place.

In his early years in Waterdeep, Kilgar experienced


a simple yet content life with his family. His father, a
seasoned guardsman, taught him the art of combat
and the importance of protecting the city's
inhabitants. Kilgar's mother, a skilled healer in the
Temple of Tyr, instilled in him the values of
compassion and care for those in need. Together,
his parents provided a stable and loving
environment that nurtured his sense of duty and
honor. These formative years, filled with laughter
and love, set the foundation for Kilgar's unwavering
commitment to justice and the protection of the
innocent. The tragic loss of his parents served as a
crucible, forging him into the determined paladin he
would become, guided by his parents' teachings
and their legacy.
