The document summarizes an observation of two 2-year-old children exploring sprouted beans. It notes that the children noticed the sprouted beans, compared them to dry beans by size and color, and explored the differences. The educator's assessment found the observation demonstrated cognitive, language, and socioemotional development. The planned activity was a rockmelon plant collage to extend the children's learning about plant growth.
