4A's LESSON PLAN

I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:

 Identify the basic skills in playing basketball,


 Appreciate the importance of playing basketball,
 Perform the basic skills in playing basketball.

II. Subject Matter

 Topic: Basic Skills in Playing Basketball.

 Materials: Laptop, powerpoint presentation, basketball.

B. Analysis

Based on the pictures that I have shown to


you, what is it all about? The pupils share their ideas.
Very Good! The pictures I show to you is
about basic skills in basketball.
So what is the importance of learning basic
skills in basketball?
(The teacher post the basic skills in playing
basketball and discuss its meaning).

C. Abstraction

Now class, are you ready for the next


activity. Our next activity is about"Gallery
Walk". There are 4 station has a picture of
each basic skills in playing basketball. The pupils are counting from 1 to 2.
Kindly count from 1 to 2.
Raise your hands group 1, kindly go to the
first station. Then the remaining was group The students participate in the activity.

Each group are given 3 minutes to perform
each station and go for the next skill to
perform.

D. Application

Now lets go play basketball. Group 1 and


The students play basketball 5 on 5.
Group 2 will competing each other. The
group that reach 10 points will win and
given 20 points. For the group who will
lose will receive 19 points.

IV. Evaluation

In a 1/4 sheet of paper, identify each of


the basic skills in playing basketball.
