planning and designing school or classroom activities that will both benefit girls and boys;
b. Train and capacitate elementary teachers of the school GFPS in integrating gender
equality/equity in the school;
c. Analyze sex disaggregated data and assess gender policies and activities; and
d. Understand GAD updates, laws and other related policies relative to the
achievement of Gender Equality in Schools.

Narrative Report
In line with the Department of Education Order No. 32 series 2017 Gender-
Responsive Basic Education Policy, it was stated that the Philippine is committed under
international and national laws to integrate gender equality into the principles, goals and
processes of Philippine education. In connection with the policy, the Department of
Education, Region 3 through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division ( CLMD )
conducted a Regional Training on Gender Equality Movement in Schools of Central Luzon
( GEM-CL ). In this light, a joint Echo Training of ___________Schools was organized and
held on December 20-22 at VENUE. The activity aimed to:
a. Present the GAD modules developed which serve as guide for / teachers in
planning and designing school or classroom activities that will both benefit girls and
boys;
b. Train and capacitate elementary teachers of the school GFPS in integrating
gender equality/equity in the school;
c. Analyze sex disaggregated data and assess gender policies and activities;
and
d. Understand GAD updates, laws and other related policies relative to the
achievement of Gender Equality in Schools.
e. Develop update GAD plan and budget for Calendar Year 2018.
Everyone was blessed with an opening prayer led by NAME of school, followed by
saluting the National flag by singing the national anthem conducted by _________, teacher
from_______School. The presence of every participants was noticed by presenting a
Christmas Song by school by _________. A welcome and opening remarks was rendered by
the over-all chairman, ___________. The facilitators was introduced by ____________. The
newly installed Public School Administrator, __________, inspired the participants. The
master of ceremony, __________ announced the Lecture Proper.
Mrs. ________, the HT-3 of _______ was the first speaker who talked on Gender and
Development Concepts. Everyone was enlightened of the important concepts on Sexuality,
Gender Equality, Gender Mainstreaming, Women in Development, Gender Analysis, Gender
Blindness, Awareness, Sensitivity, responsive policies and interventions and many more.
The next speaker was a brilliant trainer, ________ from ___________l.Every teacher
captured the basket full of ideas shared on Creating a Gender responsive Teaching and
Learning Environment. The teachers were reminded of their very important role in education
to promote gender equality by determining the factors that foster it as well as those that hinder
it.
Mrs. _________, talked on National Legislations Including DepEd orders. The
participants provided clear understanding on the existing orders related to GAD.
Mrs. _________, discussed on Strengthening Partnership with Stakeholders and made
clear on the meaning of Stakeholders-internal and external stakeholders were identified,
introduced sample share responsibility in generating opinions, formulating recommendations,
contributing and implementing projects and even monitoring and evaluating educational
services.
Mrs. __________, facilitated on School Advocacy Campaign. Different advocacy
steps were introduced.
Snacks and meals were served on time and made the participants satisfied. The first
day of the training was made successfully.
The second day was continued very organized. The following topics were discussed
clearly by the facilitators.

The teachers had fun and were enlightened on the different topics delivered on the
third day.

At the end of the third day, the most awaited time came, the closing program. It was
started with singing the Bayan Ko Pilipinas, followed by the wrap-up, Impression and
commitment led by ________, teacher of ______and the distribution of certificates of
participants and appearance.
It was ended a successful 3-day re-echo training on Gender Equality Movement in
Schools of Central Luzon ( GEM-CL )
