a) formulate their stances on issues or concerns
b) identify personal contributions/propose interventions that can
help solve the problem of climate change
c) illustrate and discuss the effectiveness of personal
contributions in addressing climate change.

1) analyzes how production and consumption habits contribute to
the problem of climate change and explain
2) writes a resolution that you can share with your friends about how
you can personally contribute towards solving the problem of climate
change

A. Introduction
Begin with classroom routine:
a. Prayer
b. Reminder of the classroom safety and health protocols
c. Checking of attendance

Review/Recall/Elicit Review the previous class discussion by a “Pass the cabbage “activity.
Recap the main concepts and key terms related to climate change

Determine the prior knowledge of the learners about addressing a


Motivation problem thru picture analysis.
B. Development LECTURE DISCUSSION

Activity Instruction: The class will be divided into six (6) groups. Each group will be
given an envelope with a group of numbers and a definition/explanation
sheet.

 Let the learners arrange the letters to come up with the steps of
Community Action Plan that serves as a framework for implementing
sustainable activities that are decided by community itself.

 Each group will post their work on the board and have a
representative to explain the community action step assigned to their
group.

 Groups will be given three (3) minutes to finish the task

 Discussion of the six steps Community Action Plan
 Learners will be guided through examples and process
questions.

impacts of climate change.
