ORDINANCE NO. 1, SERIES OF 2018


AN ORDINANCE STRENGTHENING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF R.A. 9003 OTHERWISE
KNOWN AS THE ECOLOGICAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
BE IT ENACTED BY THE SANGUNIANG BARANGAY OF MINAGBAG, QUEZON, ISABELA ON
ITS REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2018, THAT;
Section 1. PURPOSE: To strengthen the implementation of R.A. 9003 otherwise known as the
“Ecological Solid Waste Management Program” inside Barangay Minagbag.
Section 2. Wastes in every household shall be segregated into Biodegradable, Non-Biodegradable, and
Recyclable.
Section 3. Only the Non-Biodegradable and Recyclable wastes shall be disposed at the Barangay MRF,
Biodegradable wastes will remain in the household.
Section 4. Disposal of waste at the Barangay Material Recovery Facility or MRF shall be from Monday to
Friday only, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Section 5. Any person who will be caught violating this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of:
A. First offense: ₱500.00
B. Second offense: ₱750.00
C. Third offense: ₱1,000.00
Section 6: All fines derived from this ordinance will accrue to the General Fund of the Barangay.
Section 7: This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval and copies of the same shall be
posted in conspicuous places within the barangay.
