V. RATIONALE :
Pursuant to Deped Order No.022,s.2023 titled Implementing Guidelines
on the School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024,the last three
days of the five-day mid-year break (January 26-30,2024) will be devoted to the
conduct of the school-based IN SERVICE TRANING activities for the teachers’
continued professional development.

In this view ,the Cato National High School will conduct a three-day
School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) based on the competencies of teachers as
stated in the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers(PPST)to ensure that
teachers are properly equipped to effectively implement the K to 12 Program, to
address the development needs of teachers as contained in the Individual
Performance Commitment Review Form (IPCRF) ,and to enhance teachers’
professional attributes, knowledge, understanding, and skills in delivering quality
education quality, accessible, relevant, inclusive, and responsive basic education.
