Section 1. Project Overview

1.1 Problem Statement
To Safely Lifting and transferring of Ships.

1.2 Project Description

Fabrication/Rigging of 29 x required dock blocks/trestle arrangements for docking of PNS
Alamgir/054A/P Ships on SLTS.

1.3 Project Goals and Objectives

Achieving Quarterly target of GED Business by Completion of Project “Fabrication/Rigging of
29 Nos. Assemblies of PNS Alamgir” till 30 th May 22.

1.4 Project Scope

Fabrication/Rigging of 29 Nos. Assemblies of PNS Alamgir Docking Arrangement.

Project Includes

1. Fabrication of 29 Nos. Assemblies of PNS Alamgir Docking

2. All Material for Fabrication works will be procured by KSEW

3. All workmanship as well as Quality checks will be conducted by KSEW

4. Provision of following items from existing inventory of SLTS (KSEW) for Docking of PNS Alamgir

1.5 Critical Success Factors

Fabrication of 29 Nos. Assemblies of PNS Alamgir Docking.

1.6 Assumptions

⮚ Trestles Material will be used for Fabrication of PNS Alamgir Docking.

⮚ In this Project, Wood would be used for existing Trestles.

1.7 Constraints

⮚ This Project needs to be Fabricated with a Budget of PKR 132,190,000

⮚ This Project needs to be completed by 30th May 2022.

Section 2. Project Authority and Milestones

2.1 Funding Authority
The Overall Budget for this Project is PKR 132,190,000. Prior any Funding, all the works to be
evaluated by an Acceptance Committee on behalf of Acceptance Authority (NHQ DSMR-ME
Dte).

2.2 Project Oversight Authority

The Project is controlled by following members of Joint Committee
