Course Description:
This course aims to provide the students to equip with the knowledge and techniques in
understanding the organization and industry, assessing risks, create solutions and choosing the
most feasible one, as well as preparing a business case. This course also deals with determining
the different needs of businesses, with a thorough analysis of its internal and external
environments, and developing creative solutions which are relevant to the business enterprise
strategy, expectations, and needs of the business.

Course Requirements:

Classroom Policies:
1. Expectations from Student:
The student’s responsibility is to come to each class prepared. The student is also
expected to take all the examinations on the date scheduled. They should read the assigned
problems and topics prior to class. The student is also expected to attend each class and
encourage to participate actively in the class discussions. Students are expected to come to their
class on or before their respective class schedule.
2. Quiz Policies:
All quizzes can be announced or unannounced.
All students are expected to be academically honest. Cheating, lying, and other forms of
unethical behavior will not be tolerated.
Make-up quiz will only be given to students with a valid, verifiable reason for missing a
quiz.
3. Classroom Management Policies:
Cellphones must be in silent mode. Strictly no texting, calling and/or any other use of
cellphone in class.
In case of urgent or emergency calls, please ask permission to go out and make or take
the call outside from the classroom.
Please observe common courtesy by listening to the instructor and your classmates.
Kindly raise your hand if you wish to speak and wait until you are duly recognized.
Please refrain from making comments during the lecture and presentation. Questions may
be asked at the proper time so as not to interrupt the flow of the presentation.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom.
4. Academic Dishonesty:
All students are expected to be academically honest. Cheating, lying, and other forms of
unethical behavior will not be tolerated. Any student found guilty of cheating in examinations
will receive a failing grade and will be subject to disciplinary sanction. Cheating refers to
securing help in a test; copying tests, assignments, reports or term papers; collaborating with
other students during an examination or in preparing academic work; signing another student’s
name on an attendance sheet; or otherwise practicing scholastic dishonesty.
5. Policy on Absences:
The allowed number of absences for students enrolled is seven (7) absences. Three (3)
consecutive tardiness is equivalent to one (1) absence. Request for excused absences or waiver of
absences must be presented upon reporting back to class. Special examinations will be allowed
only in special cases, such as prolonged illness. It is the responsibility of the student to monitor
his/her own tardy incidents and absences. It is also their responsibility to consult with the
instructor should the case be of special in nature.
