TIME: 50 minutes

AIM OF THE LESSON: by the end of the lesson the students should be able to solve
all the exercises using the Present Continuous; they will be able to deal with Present
Continuous in sentences of their own.

COMPETENCES:

- develop the students’ ability to use language in real life situations;


- solve the exercises correctly;
- put the correct form of the verb in brackets;
- employ correctly the grammar topic;
- exchange information using the grammar structures under discussion;
- differentiate between the two different tenses.

STRATEGY:
CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT / TYPES OF INTERACTION: Individual
work, pair work, group work
METHODS: conversation, explanation, exercise
SKILLS: writing, reading, listening, speaking
AIDS: textbook, blackboard, exercises, worksheets, power point presentation

Assumptions: I assume that students have understood the grammatical category of verb
and are eager to find out more details/ things about other tenses in English;
Anticipated problems: Taking into consideration that some of the students’ level of
knowledge and their motivation of learning (English included) are rather limited/ low, the
Teacher expects her skills of teaching might not be as valued as wanted.
