Today you are going to compose clear and coherent sentences using coordinating conjuctions.
What are conjunctions?
Conjunctions are words that join two or more words, phrases and clauses.
Coordinating Conjunctions – are used to join words, phrases and independent clauses.
- joiners or linkers.
7 words used: for, and, nor , but , or, yet , so (FANBOYS)
- Go back to the slides in motivation, check the conjunctions used in the sentences.
E. Learning Activity: (3 groups)
(Discuss group rules in doing their activity- SETTING OF STANDARDS)
Group I – TRAVELOG (learners go out of the room and travel for 3mins,with that they will compose clear
and coherent sentences using appropriate grammatical structures sentence with the correct coordinating
conjunctions.
Group II- Compose clear and coherent sentences using appropriate grammatical structures- conjunction, by
combining the sentences using coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS). ( with the use of LAPTOP)
