A. Class, are you ready to learn new things today? I have here pictures. What can you say about
the 1st picture?
B. We are going to have our 1st activity. I will divide you into 3 groups. The 1st column is the
group. All you must do is the answer the ff. questions on the board. Write your answer on the
illustration board. When I say show me your answer that’s the time that you will raise your
illustration board. The group that will get the correct answer will automatically tally 1 point at
the top of the illustration board. Lets give the winning group a very good clap!

C. This morning we will tackle about changes in the materials whether useful or harmful to one’s
environment.
What can you say about the video you have watched? What impact does it bring in the
community? Is it useful or harmful? There are so many innovative things we can make out of
plastic bottles. Theres so much in the plastic bottles that we never thought can possibly make
a life than just wasting it the bins.
Useful Changes in the materials – are those materials that address the rampant problem of
improper waste disposal and thus, contribute good impact to our society.

To further lighten our minds on how to conserve and preserve our mother earth. Let us watch
another video that suggest proper ways of using, storing and disposing materials to avoid
harmful effects to the environment.

Ok, go to your respective groups. We will have another activity. You are going to identify the
changes in the materials whether it is useful or harmful to the environment. You will simply
check the column useful if the such changes are useful or check the column harmful if it
affects the environment. The fastest group who will finish it first and get the highest score
will be the winner!
D. Do you want another activity? And this point, I will give you different activities. Group 1
will use the Venn Diagram to paste the sentence strips that show changes in the materials that

Group 2 will identify the materials that are useful or harmful to the environment by putting a
check if it is useful and x if it is harmful to one’s environment.
Group 3 will paste the sentence strips to its correct group/columns.
