CUSTOMER DIAGNOSTIC WARNING LAMP LIGHTS (MESSAGE - DIAG 2000 : PCODE 1112
SYMPTOM : 1153 0400)
CONDITIONS IN
WHICH FAULT
APPEARS :

1. ORIGIN
Incorrect learning of the motorised throttle housing stops and valve EGR (EW10J4 engine - With motorised throttle housing).

2. Service Action
Engine ECU MM6LP (EW10J4 engine - With motorised throttle housing).
Learning of the valve EGR and the motorised throttle.
This operation must be carried out after a download or replacement of the engine management ECU (CMM), the valve EGR, the oxygen sensors,
the motorised throttle housing or the injectors.
This procedure will be integrated in the CD 03.D : At present follow the following procedure (In the order shown) :
• Do not start the engine (For 10 minutes before carrying out this operation)
• The engine coolant temperature must be less than 30°C and the air conditioning on OFF

CAUTION : The DIAG 2000 must be connected to the mains

Replacement of the engine control unit (CMM) : This procedure is to be applied after matching the engine ECU (CMM) (In the spare parts
menu).
(1) Clear the faults from electronic control module (Only in case of parts replacement).
(2) Validate on the menu : Initialisation of the auto-adaptive values.
(3) Validate when this message appears: leave the ignition 15 seconds and validate Learning of the Valve EGR and of the Motorised Throttle
Housing BPM (At this point ignore the DIAG 2000 messages).
(4) Switch off the ignition : To reset the autoadaptives to zero (Wait 15 seconds).
(5) Switch on the ignition for 15 seconds : Listen to the knock of the valve EGR : If the knock is not audible, recommence the procedure from the
beginning.
(6) Switch off the ignition (To memorise learning) ; Wait for the end of the Power Latch (15 second(s)).
(7) Switch the ignition back on ; Wait 15 seconds and start the engine.
(8) Let the engine run until the fans engage.
(9) Drive in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th, releasing the accelerator without braking to cut off the injection.
