Performance Task 3

From among the five phases of Teaching Internship, which seems to be difficult? Why?

At the day of all application of my learning in our educational academic field, Internship Phase 3 On site tasks is
the hardest as this challenged all my observation and aimed to apply flexibility and efficiency. The most challenging part
is finding which technique or management applies to one class to another. The hardest part which really challenged all
my neurons is on managing troublesome students and applying disciplinary actions.
Writing my Reflection

How can I enjoy my teaching Internship to the fullest?

There are many ways to enjoy a task that is not enjoyable and completely boring. At first, I was nervous with
what I need to teach but after some time, things became repetitive and life turned dull, plain black and white. From this,
I had compiled ways to enjoy my work. One, do not focus on the achieving, focus on the work itself. Two, take
advantage of the journaling to process your thoughts and learnings, taking notes of the challenges which could be solved
better and taking note of the learning process. Third, challenging yourself using different kinds of teaching techniques,
classroom management strategies and techniques and applying memory techniques for students. Lastly, after teaching,
you must utter, “Finally, the students have learned my lesson” not “Finally, my work is done, I can now rest”.

Writing My Reflection

The cooperating teacher had shown quality instruction. She had demonstrated skill in lesson planning,
instructional materials, lesson delivery and classroom management. I am now capable of all that is required in
instruction delivery. However, I still need improvement in some areas. My weakness in in classroom management and
my strength is in lesson delivery. With this in mind, I will ensure my continuous development towards becoming a
quality teacher.
