AY 2023 - 2024.

o Registration & Merit List of the candidates to be completed
on 16rh september,
2023 &
o Admission of the Registered candidates of 16th septemb et, zoz3,
as per merit rist
to be completed on 17rh Septemb er, ZOZ3, by 5pm.

2. on 16th September, 2023, candidates must reach the concerned polytechnics based on the
vacancy details provided on the Council portal sctvesd.wb.gov,in

3. For Registratron, all the candidates are to report by z:00 pm at the lnstitution on 16th
September,2023. No candidate will be allowed ro participare after the reporting time.

4. Merit list of the candidates shalt be declared by the institute on 16th september, zo23
based on the candidates appeared for Final SpOT Counselling.

5' Merit List will be drawn on ranks obtained by the candidates in fEXpo/ vocLET exam.
Preference will be given to IEXpo/ VOCLET Candidates for seat filling.

6. For candidates who did not appear for IEXP0 / vocLET a separate merit list will be drawn
based on the candidate's score in qualifying exam ( optional subjects will not be considered
while considering the score)as per the criteria specified by AICTE in AY 2023-24.

7. In case of a tie, age has to be considered. The candidate with earlier Date of Birth will get the
preference.

8. Candidates are to wait at the institution, for the Merit list declaration on 16,h September,2023.
Once the Merit list is declared, no further candidate's name will be entered.

9. Admission of the Merit Listed candidates at the institution may take place on 16th
September and 17th September, 2023 in the respective disciplines. The candidates need to act
as per the instruction of the institution. This Admission of the merit listed candidates shall take
place, online in the portal , on verification of the documents of the candidates by the institution,
within 5pm of 17th September, 2023.

10. All documents related to admission need to be carried by the candidate (as given in Annexure l)
for verification by the institute. All documents related to admission to be verified by the
institute, for every candidate eligible fbr admission. Admission to bc carried out as per the
marks of Class X or equivalent examination for 1* Year & Class XII or 2 years consolidated ITI
examination for 2na year, as per AICTE guidelines of2023-24.

11, Admission will


be denied to candidates who fail to bring all or any of the listed documents for
verification by institutes on the 17th ofSeptember 2023.

12. Admission will be denied to any candidate who has wrongly listed his/her name in reserved
category but fails to submit the relevant documents.

13. Admission will be denied to candidates who are found to have made wrong declaration at time
of Registration or during filling of JEXPO/ VOCLET form.

14. Admissiorr will be denied to the candidates already Registered in any of the Polytechnics

15. Once verified by the institution, Candidate has to pay the following amount online in the portal,
Counselling fees - Rs 500/- (JEXPO/VOCLET Candidates do not heve to pay the Counselling fees) +
Admission fees - Rs 250/- {Admission Fee of Rs. 200/- & Tuition lee for 1 month @ Rs.50/ nonth)
(Note: For TFW Candidates, it is Rs 500/- + Rs200/-)

Annexure I

1 Two copies of this Final Allotment Letter cum Money Receipt.


2 original Aadhar card or any Photo identity card along with a copy of the recent passport size
photograph of the candidate.
3 Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination or Birth Registration Certificate.
4 Mark sheet and/or Certificate of Madhyamik / equivalent examination in original.
5 Mark sheet and/or Certificate of Class XII or 2 years consolidated ITI examination for 2"a year,
with subiect combination as per AICTE guidelines of 2 02 3 -24.
6 JEXPO Admit Card.
7 SC/ST/TFW Certificate in original [required if allotted through SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B quota
onlyJ issued by competent authority of the Government of West Bengal. (ONLY SC/ST
candidates have to produce filled-in Domicile Certificate in the prescribed format).
I Certificate in original w.r.t Tuition Fee Waiver [TFW] Scheme issued by competent authority
(required ifallotted throughTFW quota only).
9 A Medical Certificate obtained from a Registered Medical Practitioner / Medical Officer
stating therein that the candidate has nocolor blindness, and fit to pursue Technical course.
The certificate should possess Signature, Stamp and Registration Number of the Registered
Medical Practitioner / Medical Officer.
10. Filled-in Anti Ragging Affidavit with provision for signature of both the student and the
Parent/Guardian.
77. 0ne set of Photocopy of all documents.
